Otis I really enjoyed this, thank you and Lynn for it. Berlin is beautiful and bustling yet grown so much! I was stationed in Hanau (Pioneer/ Fliegerhorst Kaserne) 1988-1992 when the wall came down. I misplaced my collection of particles of the wall during one of my military PCS moves.
I can relate to your excitement about traveling to Germany and the feelings of being in Berlin. That's how I felt upon arriving in Germany when I was on active duty. I visited Berlin before the wall came down and I've returned again. The best time to come to Berlin is during the summer. Lots of activities and places to visit. The good thing about Berlin is that one does not need a car to move around the city. Transportation system is very efficient and a bicycle also comes handy to ride around in and out of the city. They can be rented as well for those visiting. I can tell you that Berlin is a great place to live!
Your video of Berlin to me was lacking in information. You stand at the Wall but failed to show the top of it only the sides of the wall. I went thru Check Pointe Charlie while our unit was doing urban assault training just a few meters from the Wall watching guards in the towers watching as we assaulted the makeshift buildings which were set off with explosives as we went thru tunnels of barrels. You speak about different areas of Berlin but sweep past these areas and not really direct your camera towards the area you speak about. You put your camera onto yourself more then on the sites of the city. I spent a month in Berlin and am still today mesmerized at the difference between 1980 and 2020. The fall of the Berlin wall to me is the greatest thing to happen in my lifetime. To stand at Stallin's gravesite to see Brandenberg gate to experience the lifestyle of both east and west berlin is both amzing and sad at same time. Slow your camera down and stop it so we can see the area and not just a blur of you moving so fast we have to rewind to see parts of it. Otherwise good job... 3 AD B Co. 1/48 Inf. 79-82

Welcome to Berlin. I'm glad you liked it and I like your natural vlogging style.
