They used to go SLAP and WHAM when a decent kick landed, and we kept the pressure on. This is like 1-on-1 American football, start-stop-start-stop, not nearly enough kicks and vaguely any spins, and this is a modern day top tier match? The octagon is not reassuring either. 😭

He may be good at this game, but watching this freak show is a disgrace to the Taekwondo martial art. Here’s a suggestion- put on Kudo style face guards and let them punch in the face (there will be less hugging, remove the chest shields and count the kicks that actually land. Bring back technical knock outs. There will be paid per view audiences instead of this.
There’s a pretty big difference between banning something due to politics, and banning something due to a literal war where thousands of innocent people are being killed. Shame.
