  • Comparing the 2023 MT-10 stock exhaust vs Leo Vince Midpipe/Cat Delete.
    The bike sounds significantly deeper and more aggressive, but it is not extremely loud or raspy. Overall I am very pleased with this upgrade and highly recommend this Midpipe, as replacing the OEM essentially gives you a full exhaust on this bike.
    The OEM catalytic converter weighed over 15.5 lbs while the Leo Vince mid pipe weighs just over 3 lbs. So the bike has easily lost at least 12 lbs in the exhaust swap alone.
    Stay tuned for a ride and review of the 2 Wheel Dyno Works ECU flash as it has transformed this bike in a 100% positive way.

    I really appreciate the comparison at different revs, fly by and on bike. Best format I've watched on mt10 pipe upgrade.

    Hi. Great video thanks for making it. Excellent how you showed the different rev ranges and 2 angles. I'll plan do the same thing on mine and your answer to other people really helped me understand more too. My only issue is that I need to find a place in Australia that can do the flash like 2WDW. Have modified your gearing or running stock 16/42? Regards.

      Happy to help! I went one tooth higher on the rear sprocket, I also replaced my rear tire with a 200/55r17. Good luck with your mods and hope you find a good tuner.

    Thanks for the video, best one I've seen. Now i don't have to make one when i get my ECU back. Went with an lv10 though I'm guessing it's slightly louder than stock can

    • @2WCapo
      @2WCapo  10 месяцев назад

      It’s definitely louder than it was before, but it’s most noticeable when on the throttle. At idle it’s very reasonable but under acceleration it screams. Thanks for the comment and for watching.

    Holy shi%#. That made a big difference. That stock exhaust sounds good with not Cat. With the tune, did you keep the original air filter and keep the O2 sensor still plugged in? Just asking because I’m upgrading from my tuned 2021 Mt 09 with full Akra exhaust and tune and my 02 sesnsor is not plugged in. I’m trading it in for the 23 MT 10 next week and I’m looking into mods after breaking it in

    • @2WCapo
      @2WCapo  Год назад +1

      Stock air filter, 02 sensors still plugged in. The Leo Midpipe has bungs for them even though they are disabled by the tune, you need to keep them plugged in for the ECU to not freak out.

      @@2WCapo thanks so much for the advice. Got the black on black 23 MT-10 and absolutely love her. Got two hundred miles on her already in one weekend. Smiles for miles. Going to keep it full stock for now, at least a couple of thousand miles before I do the cat delete or decide to do the cat and exhaust. Stay safe.

    Is that the NRC tail tidy? Can you still access the key hole to remove the seat with that installed or does the bracket cover the key hole?

    • @2WCapo

      Thank you for the comment! And yea it’s the NRC tidy, and you can still access the keyhole but you lose the oem flap that covers it.

    Nice sound mate, what bar end adapters are you using to clamp the CRG Arrow mirrors onto?

    • @2WCapo
      @2WCapo  Год назад

      Thank you! I love the way the bike is coming together. I went with these from Amazon because they mount using the threads in the handle bars instead of a friction fit. Been doing a really good job holding tight.

    at 1:48 I see cables for an exhup valve. Did your new exhaust accomodate these as well? Do you have deadzones in the rev range because of this?
    I swapped my XJR1300's pipes for a full line that did not have this valve and it runs like a pig around 3000 rpm now...

    • @2WCapo
      @2WCapo  6 месяцев назад

      I removed the cables and the valve but left the servo plugged in to avoid errors with the ecu. Once I had it flashed to match the exhaust mods the factory dead zone was gone and the bike is awesome now, perfectly linear. This bike has a nasty dead zone around 3500 rpm’s stock. Big improvement having it flashed.

    But no one has a muffler for the midpipe except stock? I want to decat and run a BIG muffler to at least try to keep things quiet! Graves has a good looking system (18"? can I think?) but it stops at 2021 even though STG ADVERTISES they fit all the way to 24 when I called and asked why Graves says only to 2021 he says "sorry we assumed but whatever Graves says is right we will edit our fitment" others have confirmed in various forums the latest gen mid section has different angles ...LeoVince sells MIDPIPE that fits stock muffler but their mufflers for previous gen dont fit...hard to believe this gen is on its THIRD YEAR and there is still barely any support for many things...I know it will be too loud (for me) with cat delete and stock can ...which does not do much I understand

  • @skywave4496

    The running exhaust sound is better from the stock exhaust, and the idling exhaust sound is better from Leo Vince.
