Great video. I particularly liked the scrolls, especially _Fujin_ by Kyosai. I'm not entirely sure of what I'm seeing, but really love the composition. Then the _Urashima Taro_ by Yoshitoshi and _Clear Weather After Snowfall_ by Hiroshige. These prints enveloped me in peace and made my day.

Hey Jeff, thanks for your comments. Yes, the Fujin is a bit difficult to make out because of the perspective and sketchy style. Glad you liked the prints!

      Question:
Are the scrolls meant to be displayed, and if so...how?

@@jeffreyoldham55yes, traditional Japanese homes had alcoves specially made for small shrines, ikebana and hanging scrolls. It was a focal point of the room

Might the shiny paper be gampi. Not common but was and is still used by a few for woodblock prints.

Hey I've got a question about the Hiroshige print in your store that’s glued to a Kunichika print. Is the Hiroshige print original or a reprint?

It's an original but it's a "Memorial edition" so this series was printed after his death in 1891. You can see the original 36 views from 1858 at hiroshige.org.uk/36_Views_Mount_Fuji/36_Views_Mount_Fuji.htm
