That was an interesting run Tudor which i have not done for years. Way back in time i found Maidstone an absolute nightmare when navigating through the actual town, having said that it retains some of its charm and authenticity. Many thanks.

Bluebell hill 🤣🤣
A group of us young lads would drive up and down late at night looking for the ghost. It was the old Bluebell Hill which featured a few bends lower down. Bluebell Hill to Maidstone was always a fast stretch with the unwary being caught on mobile speed camera at the underpass (M20 overhead).
Your journey was pretty uneventful compared to what I had become used to in the past. I was pleased to move from Medway in 2010, it had become so urbanised 😒

I remember around 1983 visiting my uncle in Walderslade. We had to get the train back to Ashford and thought we’d miss. He drove us to the station down bluebell hill at some astonishing speed. He was confident we’d catch it in time 🙂

Right at the end of this journey, when you turned into St. Faith's Street, you actually went through a 'Bus Only' restriction; about the same time as you made a 'mistaken;' comment about this being the way to the prison.
Yeah you’re right. I didn’t notice it on the day. I only noticed it once I was editing the video! One of the problems of being unfamiliar with a location but also one of the important things about reading the road signs - a thing I’m always going on about 🙃
