    Edwin, can you explain how/what they used to block the interference from the other transducers?

    • @EdwinEversfishing
      @EdwinEversfishing  12 дней назад

      The main thing is using separate wiring to power what we call the black box. I use the clear harness and each one has its own dedicated power instead of going through the Boats power system.
      Hope this helps 🎣

    Great analogy Edwin you’re a professional fisherman and not sure about you but in today’s world if my vehicle or whatever breaks down I want the guy with the best technology trying to do the job in any other profession the guy with the best set of tools and skills for the job is likely the most sought after.

    It's just dumb and we need to "reel" back into reality. $50k worth of electronics to find a green fish with a brain the size of a pea doesn't seem to make a lot of sense. I used to be obsessed with fishing and watching tournaments but this has completely turned me away from the sport. The sport has become so expensive with tackle, boat, electronics, etc. Never thought i would see the day where i could buy a top of the line set of golf clubs for the price of a high end rod and reel combo. So much respect for John Cox for keeping it real.

    Thank you so much for everything you do for bass fishing and the information you provide us to improve our fishing. How about doing something on fishing the Harris Chain in Florida, I know it's a big area and I'm just looking for a place to start? Proverbs 16:3

    MLF & BASS should put a $ dollar cap on the total price of one's rig.
    Cap it at 100k. If you want all this crap on the boat, you should have to take a hit and use a smaller boat to stay unfer the 100k limit of the total combined MSRP of the rig.

    Its very sad its come to this. I thought fishing was about escaping the hustle of life yet here we are putting 5 computer screens on a 100+ thousand bass boat, all I can do is shake my head, if this is progress, I want no part of it.

  • @weseastham701
    @weseastham701 16 дней назад

    Edwin, let me get this right, you’ve got 4 live target transducers and 6 screens, but you can only fish with only one rod and it better not have an umbrella rig tied on? Humm!

    I have been done watching any more fishing leagues. Sonar has ruined the sport over the last couple of years. I want to see fishing, not someone staring at video screens. It would be like the NFL just having teams play Madden against each other.

    Edwin, powerpole charge will not charge lithiums in less than 32° weather. I think all pros should be putting this out when pushing this product. Hopefully you don't have any cold weather tournaments the rest of the year, but whoever gets your boat better live in Florida.

  • @1212onfire4jc
    @1212onfire4jc 16 дней назад

    Pro’s find fish with FFS…. I think bank fisherman know how to find fish better than half your field. Your $200k bass boat is cool….no one can afford anything you just mentioned but glad you have it all. Seriously though, I’m 45 years old and loved to watch you guys find fish and a pattern, but now I just won’t spend the time watching you guys fish FFS. Honestly it’s morning to see you guys fish that way. I think it’s cool for the weekend angler but shouldn’t be allowed in the pro’s. You guys are supposed to find the fish and make um bite…..your a pro Edwin! I digress.

    All do respect. I am starting to think your/all pro fisherman's main job is to sell me fishing equipment. Every year I need to buy more equipment to stay competitive.
    Oh well. My wife is going to be pissed when I tell her I need two more Live transducers for my tansom.
    Just kidding. I have never been competitive. I just donated to the cause. I will stick to one FFS. For now.

    • @jaredleicht1656
      @jaredleicht1656 15 дней назад

      That is their job. They are traveling salesmen. Most of them are really good fishermen but not any better than the best guys in your local federation.

    • @JBTFISHINGTV
      @JBTFISHINGTV 15 дней назад

      @@jaredleicht1656 100% agree. I need to work on my sarcasm. Pro fisherman are salesman that can fish. They can sell better than they fish most times. They would all still take my lunch money and send me home crying. Even if I had 10 FFS systems and a month of practice.

    Edwin, you just told us it’s not about fishing anymore. It’s all about the electronics and power capability. I’m really sorry they fishing has come to this. I will be glad when deer hunting gets to this level, it will only take me an hour to kill a wall hanging 12 point. They also have robots coming to do parenting and grandparent ing in the next few years. You bass guys need to look into that for all the days your gone from home. God help us as to where this is going to end. 🙄

      Considering this man Edwin Evers makes his living catching fish. I would think he would take advantage of every advantage. In saying that I don’t know what your profession is , If you are in an office I’m sure you use computers and printers instead of pencil and paper. If you are in the trades I’m sure you use power tools and not hand tools. So before you judge someone think about what you are saying.

  • @user-gn1dg8fs6e

    Dang Edwin, I've watched you since you started on the tour. I'm very disappointed with all the electronics dependence. You're better than that. I really just lost a lot of respect for you. Fish your skills, not real-time targeting fish. That is flat-out cheating, and you know it just like the other veterans. Come on man! Stand up against that technology and go back to what made bass fishing great. You know you can't beat the young guys that have mastered FFS. Look at the latest tournament at Eufala! I don't recognize anyone in the top 10, and I've been fishing tourneys for more than 30 years. Quit working for your sponsors and do the right thing.

    Yep , drop the scope and go looking . Electronics is stealing the reason to start fishing . I spent so much time sitting in a boat talking to my dad. Now all I see is school kids don’t fish unless they are in a school tournament and then they are standing there watching a screen . Sad , and people like this will promote it not because it’s good for introducing folks to fishing it just pads pockets
