Repurposing mags into journals...OMG, this is another idea I've never seen! Can't wait to try it. And thx for going over the book folding & cutting again. My memory isn't what it used to be after a series of strokes. I rarely go out & sending my husband to the art store to get the right paper for the book is challenging. The tips of how to work in the magazine journals, mashing down the glue, & using the right paint so colored pencils will write on it are so helpful & appreciated. And I LOVE long LIVE videos. That's how I learn to do new things. Bah humbug to those shorts & short videos!

I have done mags together for En Masse journal (a la Shannon Green) and some reverse collaging, but had never considered cutting them down. I love the different sizes, plus chopping up image into smaller size really forces my brain to look differently at the original printing. I am not a new subbie to you. But to be honest, I rarely watch long videos. I think will have to rethink this for you, though, because you had good nuggets thru the whole video. Thanks again!

Some old journals/sketchbooks I tear up pages and reuse..HOWEVER, you don't have to USE them after you create them. I have shelves of old journals. I love them and even going back through them inspires me. Art journals are more about the creating.
