Great choice and great Collection. I spent $300 ripping Celebrations packs trying to get the Charizard...no luck. Then I buy my 8yr old niece 4 packs and she pulls a Charizard on her first Celebration pack...I stopped gambling on packs after that.
I got the charizard out of 4 packs :)

Honestly a decent video displaying what each different grade looks like in PSA standards. Yes grading is subjective to the grader, but it's good to at least have a base understanding on what grade a card might get based on the condition.
Some people can be way off and just wasting their money.

I can't tell you how happy this video makes me. My Charizard was stolen in childhood and I always hated losing such an awesome card and that I would never get it back but this video makes me realize I can afford a slightly damaged one 😮🎉😂
I'm happy either way... got a PSA 8 Base Charizard I bought it raw from a car boot sale (Garage sale for the US)... I paid £30!! (About $40 maybe wrong) so yee made an investment either way 😎... love your collection you have 👌
You should review the prices of the 1st edition Charizards from PSA1 to PSA10
so if I was to sell my charizard. it has a tiny scratch on the back tiny edge wear and I'd guess it's about a 5 or 6. do I need to bring it to someone to get priced?

Orangish red background is definitely better. Coloring should factor more into grading and sales price of cards. You made $8,000 just on the PSA 10 copy alone! All Pokefans are vindicated by this spiking of prices. While there was definitely a BOOM price in 2021 that has come down, there are still decades to go while these cards keep steadily increasing, so time in the market is better than timing the market for sure.

The value is in all of them. I bought my Charizards raw ungraded like five years ago for no more than like $60 apiece. They got a PSA 6, 7, and 8. The money isn't there anymore because people are too late

Last week I recently bought a Base set unlimited zard in NM condition raw. It looks nice but I can see 2 small dots in the bottom right corner where the foil shows. The back is clean and so are the corners and no scratches on the holo. Question is should I even consider grading since it might not come back a 10 or 9 and just keep it raw?
If the foil is showing there is no chance it will be a 9 or a 10. None. It's probably going to be a PSA 7 or maybe even a 6. It's about what you want. I would not say it has a lot of investment potential, it's about what you value. That's what is being lost in this hobby. Do you want it graded for you? That's what matters.
I sold a PSA 8 holo and PSA 8 reverse holo charizard as a pair for 650 during the 2020 boom. Kinda feel bad about it tbh.

Me personally burnt out and over played on charizard didnt even try for the code on pokemon center and passing on the upc but thats just my own opinion and choice but great video
If you don’t care for Charizard why not collect it to then trade for cards you like? You could buy that UPC for MSRP and end up trading it towards something you’d like a lot more and could save you money with trades like that. That Special Delivery charizard could have gotten you a Pokémon card YOU like for around $80 right now.

I have a 5 and it looks better than 7s and even 8s I have seen online. A tiny bit of whiting around the edges on the back.
PSA is a lucky dip for being the so-called Gold standard.
Not that I'm complaining, I bought it graded, so I'm glad it got a 5 and not an 8 because I wouldn't have been able to afford it.
Do you think in the future slabs from CGC and BGS will reign supreme for their Black label 10’s and Perfect Label 10’s from CGC?
IMO I absolutely think so it's so hard to get those perfect grades on actual rare cards you can get them on common stuff but the rare perfect an black label cards are near impossible to get they're gonna have to be worth something and I think PSA is not gonna be #1 for much longer I think that AI apps are really gonna take grading by storm

The psa 9 charizard unlimited has gone up in value over 400 percent in the last 5 years as it’s the only attainable mint charizard base. Won’t be the case in 5 more years. Not counting pandemic prices, everything was over priced
