I like that mower, if I could afford it. This would be great for handicapped homes. I can't mow the yard due to a wheelchair...but this would do it. This way cool and with a 3/4 acres to mow..I could do it again.😊😊❤

Ironic how I saw a commercial about this mower during this video. Showed the difference terrain it was capable of going over. I really enjoy this channel. I sure learn a lot. 🇺🇸

Fantastic for the elderly/people with disabilities maybe, as long as the grass isn't too long👌💖

Not until I have to, only because I like mowing. Crazy, I know. I definitely see a market for it. It could help a lot of people mow their yards and even give them a sense of independence. Personally, I think it's awesome.

Yes! Yes, I would, and everyone I've shown has a similar opinion it looks like good fun. I still think it needs a display screen on the remote to show what you're cutting but otherwise it would be a very popular in my neighborhood.

The 4WD model and bag full detection feature would be excellent for you to test. I'm so glad I saw you testing this. Dont need it but love tech, mowing and being able to take it places.

    G'day Tim,
I have over 20 RC Cars of different sorts so this would fit in so well at my place, so when the novelty wears off I know a good home 😉.
For the spinning wheels yeah I think when the grass is this tall (especially also as thick as Buffalo with a super spongy base like here) you need to cut less new width rather than trying to cut full blade width, it did much better once you had done the first pass that was higher than the Front Bumper. While it was competent & did do a good job with a cut this long I'd say best suited to a regular shorter mow.
Ps that fence with Steel Frame & Wood instead of Colourbond is interesting

I think a few people have hit the nail on the head. Its a niche market tool. Disabled person may be able to mow their yard if they can use their hands, may be cant empty. Elederly people who have impaires mobility.

👍👍👋🌿Jana 🌿

In regards to it getting stuck in the long grass, being someone who lives in a state where there is snow, the front wheels have to be straight or else you will get stuck. When driving a car in the snow and you get stuck you have to make sure that your front tires are straight to get unstuck. Same concept applies. You went straight from the walkway onto the grass and it didn't seem to have a problem but when you were on the grass in the tall grass and turned it got stuck for a moment. Just my opinion. This would be good for someone who has mobility issues but wants to cut their own lawn.

Seems like a feasible option for folks with mobility issues, COPD, injuries or surgery. Maybe emptying the bag would be all they could handle. I would make one run up the middle, then clear a turning radius area at both ends so the machine could just run continuously rather than doing a three point turn every time. What do the U-turn buttons at the top of the control unit do?
You should be careful suggesting that safety features be removed because you don’t like them. People pay attention to you, and taking safety devices off might cause injuries and / or invalidate the warranty. Regulators won’t certify a machine if it is not safe to use. They may be an inconvenience, but so is losing a toe. You’d feel bad if that happened because of your advice, which may open you up to a lawsuit.

One you can operate from the comfort of your couch similar to the Mario Kart live home circuit game. You'd have a first person view of what you're mowing and a specific spot that you can auto dump the clippings.

  • @petermiddo
    @petermiddo 4 месяца назад +2

Would I use it? You bloody betcha I would. Mowing is one of the jobs I absolutely hate, so it would suit me. Also, my father in law is getting older and it pains me to say that it's going to eventually fall onto my shoulders to mow the shitful thing. Also my parents. A mower like this would mean I could park a camping chair next to the bin, and sit and drive the mower around. I would even make it come to me when it needs emptying. (Hence the bin next to the camping chair. )
Both my parents and my FIL's front and back lawns are separated by fences and or paths, so robot mowers won't work for them.

Nope. Mowing the lawn with remote control does not save time vs using a push mower. Push mower also gives you added benefit of exercise. I would prefer a fully automated robot mower over the remote controlled mower to give me spare time to spend time with family or enjoy my other hobbies.

Or get any RTK automower on the market and dont mow at all. Our EPOS Husqvarna maintains our 2 acres without any intervention, and it stripes the lawn. This thing is dead on arrival. This company will not survive, so I'd be very careful buying this knowing you won't have support in probably 2 years.
