    Liked that the blinds and light strips were hidden. Floors came out great looking. ✌️

      Sometimes I wish I could do math and draw and plan but it's more fun to just go for it and stay on your toes and adapt and overcome.

    I'm just starting my bus build and Your videos have been so helpful, I will definitely use this flooring! I want to keep as much headroom as possible so I am going 1/2" insulation, 1/2" plywood then this cork flooring:)

      Sounds good! But I would use 5/8" CDX for subfloor instead of any 1/2 inch plywood I'm aware of. Just a little thicker but made for subfloors.

    Cork floor looks amazing!! And for somebody that's never put down flooring before, it looks like somebody nailed it pretty well. Well, glued it in reality, but nailed it nonetheless. Trail and error and keep on learning new things. Way to go Justin!! How much longer before the full reveal vid?? Really looking forward to seeing it.

    How’s the Cork flooring holding up? I’ve been wanting to put it in my bus, but hear it doesn’t last. I suppose the finish you put on also is a factor.

    cork flooring would also be safer for the baby since cork is a little squishy.

    So whats the reasoning for choosing cork flooring? I wouldn't think it would be durable for high traffic.

    • @MobileDwellings
      @MobileDwellings  2 года назад +1

      Thin, light, aesthetically pleasing, but yes there are many options that are more durable.

      @@MobileDwellings awesome . Was just curious. I like the idea of cork floorings but I have 2 100lb dogs that would destroy it I think lol

    Yeah, you are going to need a bullnose on that top stair tread, shoes and kids will tear that up in no time.
