    • @LLawliet-tv9ig
      @LLawliet-tv9ig 8 месяцев назад +3

I feel like that's such a lame excuse to say. Oh "they have a target on their backs now and the pressure would be too much". They have the pressure by getting the 1st seed locked up since mid-Dec last year like you said. In fact, Nuggets have been dealing with pressure for the past couple seasons already. Hence, why they're able to go on deep playoffs run every single year when they're healthy. 2019 - 2nd seed, 2020 - 3rd seed, 2021 - 3rd seed, 2022 - 6th seed, and 2023 - 1st seed. Their records since the ascension of Jokic speaks for itself. This is also the 1st year since 2020 that Nuggets' starting lineup have been fully healthy at the start of the regular season. I can't imagine the Warriors or the Suns having better standings than the Nuggets. But we shall see.

I am a Warriors fan, but I really don't see us getting #1 spot in the West. Of course, I am more than happy they are able to prove me wrong. However, our team is old without size and trading our young star Jordan Poole for an injury prone CP3 it's tough to see us go far even if we were in the playoff. We even lose some of our key bench players such as Donte DiVincenzo, and that will hurt us more than you think.
    - With Jordan Poole out we can only primarily rely on Steph for scoring
    - Klay Thompson needs to be more consistent and hopefully his defencecan be back to his old days
    - Draymond Green, although I like his game, but his inability to score will hurt us in some of the important games
    - CP3, still a great floor general hopefully he stays healthy and able to build good chemistry with the team asap
    - I like our young players though, Kuminga, Moody, Lester Quinones. If they can have a breakout season, I think we will do good.

Thunder> lakers is stupid, unless SGA become Michael Jordan, and Chet is a fringe all star. Lakers got more pieces so that Lebron and AD doesn’t have to break their backs to carry them like in 2022.
GSW at 1 isn’t even surprising anymore. I know what channel I’m on.
Suns at 2 isn’t awful, I dont think Yuta Watanabe, Eric Gordon, and Bol Bol Will fix their depth.
Clippers at 8: Idgaf about this team anymore
    Playoffs:
Kings beating Lakers feel like this guy just hating the lakers.
Warriors beating nuggets: if Kevin looney + draymond just locks up Jokic, and Steph curry somehow locks up Jamaal Murray, I think GSW can win.
Suns vs Warriors: Honestly a 50/50. Both great offenses, not good defense. Whoever scores more wins.

    • @robertokarlo1870
      @robertokarlo1870 8 месяцев назад

So you want the gsw to perform a miracle and lock up Jokic...that man is almost unguardable at this point in his carrier and 2 guys that arent even as big as him probably wont be able to stop him.
Like aint like they cant win, but i highly doubt it would be possible given that everyone on the warriors is on the decline except Steph.
Also the Lakers biggest concern is whether Lebrons age is gonna catch up to him and its realistic to not put much stock into an uncertain team like that.
Thoigh suns vs warriors would just come down to who is more injured.

Jazz are too low, Grizzlies are too low, Wolves are too high, Warriors are too high, Thunder are too high, Nuggets are too low. The Grizz would definitely make the playoffs in your play-in scenario btw. If the Clippers are healthy I think the Suns will take more than 5 games if even one of their 2 stars is healthy, they lose either way so it doesn't really matter. The Kings are not good enough to beat the Lakers, they couldn't beat the Warriors, and the Lakers are just as good as the Warriors. There is no way the Warriors beat the Nuggets, I'm sorry, the Lakers beat the Warriors and they got swept by the Nuggets. Suns are also much better than the Warriors, they have a worse offense than the Suns and it's not close.

To break it down, here are the key factors that can help the Golden State Warriors pull off a successful winning streak and potentially win the championship:
    1. Stephen Curry's Personal Motivation: Stephen Curry's personal motivation after not being named an All-Star can drive him to perform at an even higher level. His scoring average of 31.2 points per game is impressive and can continue to be a significant factor in the team's success.
    2. Getting the Team Involved: Curry's ability to get his teammates involved is crucial. By actively involving role players like Jonathan Kuminga, who has been averaging 25 points per game in the last 15 games, the team can become a more balanced and formidable unit.
    3. Draymond Green's Return: Draymond Green's return from his 20-game suspension provides a boost to the team's defense. As an enforcer on defense, Green can disrupt opponents' plays, make crucial stops, and get into the heads of the opposing players. This disruptive presence can throw off the rhythm of the opposing teams and give the Warriors an advantage.
    4. Utilizing Klay Thompson's Shooting: Klay Thompson's exceptional three-point shooting skills, combined with Curry's prowess, make them a formidable duo. Thompson's return adds another dimension to the team's offense, making it more challenging for opponents to defend against.
    5. Hunger, Toughness, and Hustle: The team's hunger, toughness, and hustle are vital attributes that contribute to their success. Their determination to win, coupled with their relentless effort on both ends of the court, can give them an edge over their opponents.
    6. Smart Game Strategy: In the upcoming games, it is crucial for the Warriors to play smart. They should focus on ensuring that Curry gets his shots while also involving the entire team in the offense. Additionally, they should devise effective defensive strategies to counter the strengths of their opponents, such as James Harden, Paul George, and Kawhi Leonard.
    7. Stephen Curry's Leadership: Stephen Curry's leadership will be key in guiding the team through the challenging run. He has proven himself capable of carrying the team on his back in previous playoff runs, and his experience and leadership skills can inspire and motivate the team to perform at their best.
While it will be a challenge to go undefeated in the next 13 games and win the championship, with Stephen Curry healthy and the team's collective efforts, anything is possible. The Golden State Warriors have a strong foundation and the potential to make a deep playoff run, ultimately aiming to win their 5th ring and solidify their place in basketball history.

Here's my standings with an explanation next to it.
    1. Phoenix Suns. Offense in the regular season wins a lot of games and even though they have no depth their bench is very good for the contracts they have.
2: Los Angeles Lakers. AD is the best defender in the NBA and with more depth and Lebron+AD not needing to carry as much, they will be healthy. They also had the best off-season.
    3. Denver Nuggets. They're probably the favorite to win the chip but they won't take the regular season that seriously imo.
    4. Dallas Mavericks. WIth a full off-season, the Mavs will have a top 2 offense in the NBA and Luka will win MVP. They also added some good defensive wings to the roster. Also, had one of the best off-seasons imo.
    5. Golden State Warriors. Contenders, but I don't think CP3 is a trustable player anymore and their lack of size will 100% hurt them.
    6. Oklahoma City Thunder. Same team as last year + a top 3 rookie and future all-star with Chet. They were a 40 win team last year and now everyone will get better.
    7. Sacramento. Their roster hasn't changed that much since last season and every other team got better.
    8. Memphis. They'll be terrible without Ja and be pretty good with him. They lost an all-defensive player which will hurt a bit.
    9. Los Angeles Clippers. I think the Kawhi injury that happened in the playoffs will severely impact him.
    10. Minnesota Timberwolves. If they were in the East they'd be a top 6 seed. Ant will make a superstar leap, but the other teams are just better.
    11. New Orleans Pelicans. I think Zion will have a less injury riddled season, but he'll probably have more minor injuries with multiple stretches of games missed instead of the usual season ending injury. They'd be the 4th seed if healthy tho.
    12. Utah Jazz. They're actually a good team and could be a top 6 seed, but they're going to tank.
    13. San Antonio Spurs. Wemby will be in all-defensive conversations and will win ROTY. Their team just isn't ready since they're so young
    14. Houston Rockets. They technically got better and now they have an actual coach, I could see a world where they make the play-in tho. They're still too young.
    15. Portland Trailblazers. I think Dame will be playing for the first half of the season but will have a similar trade situation to KD last year, finally going to Miami.
    Play-in.
    Memphis 7th seed (beat Kings)
T-Wolves 8 seed (beat Clippers and Kings)
    Round 1:
Suns vs. T-Wolves. KD will either shit his pants or get injured, and this will be one of the biggest upsets ever. Just kidding Suns in 6, Ant will make it close tho.
Lakers vs. Memphis. Rematch from last year, except they'll both be healthier. Lakers will absolutely dominate tho and I think they'll win in 5.
Nuggets vs. OKC. Shai will go crazy, but the Nuggets are unstoppable. Nuggets in 5.
Mavs vs. Warriors. I think this will be the closest series and will go to 7 just like Sacramento did. But Luka's ready to take the reins from Steph as the best PG in the league and their one two punch with Kai and Luka will be too much for the Dubs. CP3 will probably have his usual playoff injury and Klay will shit his pants. I can see Steph averaging like 38 ppg tho.
    Round 2:
Suns vs. Mavs. Rematch from 2022. This will go to 7 and will be the best series of the year. D-Book and Luka going at it and former teammates Kyrie and KD going at it. I think Luka will lead this team to the conference finals and will make a crazy shot to end the series.
Lakers vs. Nuggets. Again, a rematch from last year. This could go either way, but I'm going with the Lakers. Even though the Lakers got swept last year. The score was within 6 points (2 possessions) 3/4 games and the biggest difference was an 11 point win in game 3. The Lakers got better and even if they changed nothing, literally just the fact they have more time together will make them a better team. While the Nuggets lost their best bench piece with Bruce Brown, which is the difference imo from a game 7 win and a game 7 loss.
    Conference Finals:
Mavs vs. Lakers. Lakers will probably win in 5 and make the finals. I think the Mavs' run will be more of a matchup thing then them being that good or a Cinderella run. Lakers will just dominate them. Their side of the standings is much more difficult then the Mavs side and it'll show in this hypothetical series which will probably not happen, but it's fun to predict.

@d3va383 Understandable, but stats can only take you so far. Luka needs to show everyone he can lead, especially because his team is far from being awful, so that's not an excuse.
He gotta stop crying to the refs though, his temper showed in the FIBA games and it was embarrassing tbh.
All in all, he has a bright future ahead of him, and he's still so young. The only thing that can stop him is injuries, but he doesn't seem to be prone to them so I'm pretty sure he will get some rings sooner or later.
