RIP Jeff Buckley. Did you know he died in the mississipi river at the Tennessee / Arkansas border in Memphis? Drowned. Beautiful song. But such a sad Biblical story behind it. Samson was a great man. Even though he lost his strength because of one lustful temptation of Deliah. Samson. He never lost his faith in GOD. And GOD never left his side when Samson died because of it. Samson pleaded with GOD to restore his strength one last time. GOD said yes. Then Samson pulled the entire temple down onto himself and died.😢 Now that is worth a "Hallelujah."
What happened was Delilah tricked Samson by cutting off his ponytail which was a source of his strength given to him by GOD. Delilah. She found out from an inside source so she betrayed him and his love for her. Samson after he lost his strength was thrown into a cage and turned into a slave and humiliated. Samson realized that he had betrayed God and prayed to God to give him his strength back and God spared him.
