      the good thing about Lloyd Avery is he became a pastor & turned his life over to God. He was trying to minister to his cellmate & he wasn't trying to hear it & killed him. So even though he died I'm glad his soul is at peace.

    You know, Angela Bassett and Lawrence Fishburne are a great duo. This movie and What's Love Got To Do With It were awesome.... They did feed off one another really well.

      Keke do look like Angela & Lawrence. They probably their long lost daughter.

    • @andreadaniels8484
      @andreadaniels8484 7 лет назад +3

      MIZZJACQUETTAx Yup...I TRULY believe this. If you look at KeKe's mom and dad...she doesn't really look like them or her siblings. Ever notice how you NEVER see the cousins, siblings, aunts, uncles.. etc in Hollywood. ..of many peopke. I believe the people who brought KeKe up are relatives of either Angela or Lawrence. ..because there are some familial features with them.. HOWEVER, this happens ALOT in Hollywood. I believe the same with the woman who played Alice on the Brady Bunch...she had an identical twin (as MANY PEOPLE in Hollywood do)..yet the other wasn't famous. I believe one of them is the TRUE mother of Ellen Degeneres. She's spitting image of her. Even her mannerisms and gestures.

      lovelyti2002 that's why some technics like Meisner are best for the sake of your health as opposed to method acting. Christian Bale has gone too far with some of his roles for example (in my opinion). Also acting is so emotionally draining! It's no joke😕

      acting sounds even more demonic now because majority if not all actors who act the role of cancer patients end up having cancer. I think if your spirit us weak acting is not for you it seems demons can access you easier by you taking on a character especially a evil character likd a killer in both cases with the gangster and the joker I still feel so bad for Heath persons should have aided him better by guiding him on how to deal with that joker role. Plus drugs make you even more susceptible and open. Ti be safe I know you are strong

    I dont care how many times I watch Boys in the Hood, I simply never get tired. Its a classic and it amazes me how John Singleton took these actors made us beleive they were real, and we related to them. Success has a price, sometimes we pay more for it than its worth. Those who make it work for them use it and does not allow it to go to their heads. Others. allow it to go too their head and it uses them. We cant expect everybody to handle the fame as it should. be, they get use to the recognition, the few dollars and than when it ends, they figure too keep the notoriety. they gotta be that person in the role they played. We all know how good it feels to be noticed. and admired. Unfortunately its obviously TOO good to some These actors whos lives. ended by the hands of others, or whos hand ended other peoples lives got caught up, in the high price of fame. Its not for everybody and thats for certain. Lady Ti, you brung that, such an excellent. post because we do often have a curiosity. about where they all end up. This was so informative and juicy. Thanks so much, you always do great stories. DEUCES! 😃

    I really appreciate this video. Boyz N The Hood is one of THE movies EVERYONE knows and loves. I enjoyed hearing the updates on these actors. It is beyond tragic what happened to some of them. I loved all of Angela Basset's and Laurence Fishburne's scenes. Even though they were no longer a couple, they were still co parenting and instilling values in their son. Strong mother and strong father. I love how Furious was explaining to Tre what responsibilities are. Oh btw Ti, in "Poetic Justice" Markell was Justice's boyfriend who was murdered.

    Great video, you missed 1 character he played aka "Monster" the best friend to Dough boy (Ice Cube) the actor's name is Baldwin Sykes he played in several movies after Boyz like South Central, Hank Gathers story, Not Easily broken, Class Act II he hasn't given up his love for acting but he now mentors young troubled youth all over Southern Cali. I ran into him recently at a youth conference where he was the main guest speaker. He is also a product of Compton, CA Very refreshing to see he represented positivity, sorry to hear the other young actors met untimely violent deaths.

    Lloyd Avery . . . What a waste of a gorgeous man. I always thought that Dedrick had died while taking part in a drag race. What really happened was even more tragic. My favourite character in the movie was Doughboy's friend Monster with the twists in his hair that asked Ricky's scout to hook him up with a scholarship. He had some beautiful eyes.
