1. Arbiter - His rage mode will just eat warthogs alive. Surround him then drop the d-bomb. 2. Chieftan - His vortex just wipes out warthogs. Use the same technique as the arbiter to kill him. 3. Prophet - Against this guy, never have your warthogs stationary and not just against him...every leader. Don't forget bro, element of surprise is key to victory. I can get the gauss cannon around the same time as you but I have 3 bases. The upside to this is that you can make the warthogs rediculously fast. The negative thing is that you can die faster since you don't upgrade the bases.
It depends on how many you have and how fast they grow in numbers. If you ge gauss using 1 base, that's not good because you can't get a huge number of warthogs soon enough. If you have 3 bases, you can triple pump them and they grow very quickly if you don't stop them in the begining.
The 2 remaining guys left were both Covenant. I was under the assumption they were making all anti air to combat my teammates banshees. I was just making them for backup plus you increase your multiplier if you research and build different types of units.

disruption bomb on cooldown = bb hoggies. disruption on arby anywhere on map=he might manage to run away. if you play against an arby, its the target to not meet the arby anyway, unless you are at his base. this way he still can escape with is arby, but then you eat his base. also 9 gauss hogs equalizes a arby upgraded once, around 14-20 on vicious,depends on micro. rule numero uno: never run from an arby. stay inside of him raging, he will have probs shutting down you one by one=more efficient
for future reference for you and anyone out there.. in that moment in time... you wouldn't need to switch to wolves, because gauss hogs hard counter air units. so just stick with gauss for the hard counter air and the great base damage
warthog rush as highlevel player is essentially. there is a good reason for it, but i dont want to argue with lower players, who still think that rushing is for noobs. halo wars on higher levels is so much different from what i read in the comments...
Don't listen to all these haters, just do whatever works for you and all the pppl that said scorps could easily take out the hogs,,,, well ya buuut he mentioned hs had GOOD teammates and they should be able to kill the scorps easy as covy
That all depends how many thanks you have and if they're upgraded. Most 3 v 3 people are just expanding at around 5 and a half minutes. And to combat tanks, I'd use a carpet bomb.
@Simon2SD Sorry for not responding quickly. Um I want to blame lag on the reason it won't move. But i usually compensate by selecting all units and keep moving them. Depending how many convenant you're playing against. I would save the disruption bomb for the strongest leader. Here's the rank, in my opinion on who the strongest leaders are
three or four tanks couldn't beat the warthogs with guass cannons, sure the warthogs can't hurt them with bullets but with the guass they do major damage. Hunters couldn't beat strafing warthogs as they can dodge their shots (unless they have assault beam which they obv wouldn't this early) and you could even ram the hunters if you wanted.
This might be 4 years late, but Forge gets heavy supply pads for the cost of regular supply pads, so he gets about 1.5x the supplies, thus nullifying the costs.
Forge has a much better economy starting off, I have not crunched the numbers to know if it is exactly 1.5x the supplies but it is more than enough to offset the cost, by quite a bit. Money wise Forge is much better. But Anders upgrades do not take as long, and you can quickly switch to hawks or other units if needed, she has a cryo to counter hunters, and is better late game should you fail in your rush.

in the same 6 mins you could get 4-5 scorpions w/ can shell if you get the reactor, and they would fuck up warthogs so easily.

he can do this in under 6 mins when drunk and i take 14 mins 51 secs when sober...

You can get 5 scorps in under 6 minutes if your good. You can also get 3 tanks canister shell if your good so ye. Read up your theory as its wrong.
there is noreactor for the enemy, since you got the warthogs to kill the marines ;) its all about them plays
yeah he's got the idea warthog rushing is a bad strat if your a higher rank.
Using proffesor anders is better because warthog upgrades are less expensive and faster to make.
