Drip irrigation will end up being your best water conserving effort John. You have plenty of water now, but when it gets scare your drip system will be what saves you! Great job on the tower and tank too to get the system going.
Way Cool! I’ve been waiting to see how you soloed that build. Good job! Leaving Oregon 7/10 for your neighbor hood to buy my last rancho build. Maybe we’ll cross path’s!
Great job! I too have been watching you a while and this project took some planning for sure. You may have missed your calling as a Project engineer! Keep on truckin!
You seriously need to have a party and celebrate your accomplishments!!! This is so freaking cool! So sorry the wood cost so dang much though. I went to Lowe's and took pics of lumber prices and was so shocked. It will pay for itself over and over though. Now, let's celebrate! 🎉😊🎉😊 Oh, and if I was closer I would fix that zipper for you and make it Velcro instead so see if there is a local seamstress near you.
It would be amazing if you made a pond out side your boundary for the wild animals . If you had a camera set up by the water I imagine you would get some amazing footage.I appreciate your efforts making videos thank you
You've done a brilliant job. Its always great to see your progress. When i saw the raven, I did think it would be a great idea for you to put some bird houses on the 4 corners to encourage the wildlife more? Just a thought anyway. Hey, you could even make your own and film it, would make some good content. But anyway, ive been watching your journey for a while now and i really enjoy your videos. Thank you for continuing your work and continuing to show it to us. Makes me wish the UK had a desert for me to go and set up in 😂
This water tower is a game changer. Are you going to put up a wooden barrel facade on the outside and paint “frugal” on there? Jk. But seriously, It would be cool to have a telescope up there at night to check out the stars!
You never cease to amaze me. You’re incredibly talented. It’s amazing how you can turn your hand to anything despite not being qualified in that area and make it work, plus look good. Well done to you 😀👍
Is your hose a drip or soaker? I guess when I hear drip irrigation I think of those little emitters stuck into a black hose that goes to each plant. That system I found to be way expensive. I am wondering which would use more water a soaker hose or a drip system? What would be the advantages of using a soaker hose that moistens all the soil along it. The baby pigs are so cute!
I feel like this is a rhetorical question. I don't think anyone builds or searches youtube for a "soaker system" sometimes we don't need to get caught up over semantics. Both are pretty efficient.
It always amazes me how far you have come all while keeping things frugal! The tower is a game changer for sure! Keep up the amazing job! ❤🎉
Thanks! Will do!

Appreciate that
I look forward to your latest videos every week . Wishing you continued success , you’re such a smart and brave young man .
Thank you Grace, I appreciate it.
The way you attached the 2x4s to the 4x4s to stand the legs was genius!
Would have been very tricky without that old framing trick.
@FrugalOffGrid agreed, nice job bro!
Drinking black coffee while the garden Waters itself ... Priceless
🤣🤣🤣😎
Fantastic John.......keep up the good work.
The water tower looks amazing!
Thanks dude! Appreciate you stopping by.
@@FrugalOffGrid always
Wow, very impressive! Excellent!
Thank you! Cheers!
It's a good sign that you get wildlife there, it's a testament to 'greening' the desert, as you've said.
Awesome water tower too and price breakdown lol. Coffee is priceless!!
What can I say John? You keep adding more & more things to your homestead & do an OUTSTANDING JOB 👊👊. Simply ❤ the arial views ❤❤. 👵🏻👩🌾❣️
Wow, thank you
Dude the walking brace leg to get the intial poles place was genius
Sweet, I think my brother taught me that when I first started framing houses.
Wow, I’m impressed!
Getting that tank up on top was unbelievable!
It was a bit tricky.
Tricky? I’ll bet it was downright terrifying! You’re a brave man!
@@FrugalOffGrid I wonder if you left the center of the platform open you could've lifted it up the middle then added floor boards under it.
Kudos, John. You are such an inspiration to me, and clearly many other people.
Your place is looking good. Hard work pays off.
Strong work on the water tower
Great video man, love the progress!
Thanks
Thank you kindly!
Absolutely excellent job👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Ray. Funny what you can do when you have a few bucks.

Looking good & well built. Keep up the great progress.
This is wild you did this project all on your own 😮 bravo ❤
You work so hard and you have done a great job, I'm impressed and it looks great!
Pumped to watch this come alive - despite that naysayers - as always. Crushing it, brother
Looking forward to this 🤝
Hope you enjoy it!
Impressive.
Love it! I've started my mini farm on my channel. I'm still on the outside of the city but it feels country. Keep up the good work.
Exciting!!🎉
Yeah i need to get mine done also
Amazing!

Nice one! Looks like a hard slog but worth it
Amazing work
Great Job Mate
Congratz!!
👍👍
Awesome job, John! Amazing work all by yourself to boot! Still afraid of heights??
Thanks, it's easy to stand up there with a hand rail. It's the hanging off the deck, pulling up a 200lb container that's sketchy. 🤠
