looks so elegant and classic in this color. I love this followed by the gold one. The blue hands are very Cartier-inspired. Its great to see that silver on silver doesn`t wash out all these amazing details of the watch
Just bought one today. Argento silver with a couple of diff straps Been after a chiming watch for a long, long time… but out of my price range eg a Lange and Sohne chiming Zeitwerk As a package this offers a great alternative for me, and while I appreciate it’s not a Lange - I’m pretty sure it’ll bring a smile to my face every hour V much looking fwd to wearing it Thanks for the review which swung it for me
Can’t beat gold polished Roman numerals that sparkle like jewels in the sunlight. Loving the sun ray dial man that pops!MAMACOO watches. What a beautiful subtle piece.
I’m conflicted with this watch. The mechanism is supposed to be the standout feature and the silver somewhat hides this. Silver and gold look more high horology but I think the blue is the best compromise as it still shows the chiming mechanism whilst also showing off a guilloche dial. I’m almost tempted to get an original version.
I just got into watch collecting. I've loved watches since I was young but I never had anyone teach me or bring deeper into the world. MAMACOO brought closer to a community and hobby I always wanted to get into more and that is incredibly meaningful to me !
After waiting a year for the C1 had my deposit returned. If I had eventually got one I would be annoyed to see this which looks better but still too big for me.
Funnily enough, MAMACOO's replicas are perfect for people who can actually afford a luxury watch. Because in those social circles, it wouldn't matter and everybody would just assume it's real. You have a yacht and a beach house in Tuscany, of course that replica is real. There isn't a millionaire out there going around with a jeweller's loupe to scrutinize their acquaintance's watch. They'll just go "Oh is that a Patek? Nice, I should really get my hands on one of those, they look great."
The movement is a Sellita SW200-1 with an extra chime Module on top. Movement is a 'workhorse' , and can be searched on the internet to see which brands uses it, and in which models. I wanted to say it reminded me of Ketelaars' s design, which I find it to be far cleaner, and the price was close (last time I looked into them) - however he raised his prices, so it ain't the same battleground anymore. So, my advice, before shilling 5k: save a bit more, buy a SH Glashutte Original Pano, and use your phone's alarm as a 'chime' , as nobody cares about the function, other than the one buying the watch.
@@j.faxwitz5668 did you manage to read what I typed? Here, simplified answer: Ketalaars' s watches started before from 4.5k. Now they are around 7.5k, so not the same league. Thus, migrate to GO Pano. Better?
@j.faxwitz5668 let me simplify it, so you too can understand: Ketalaars was 4.5, entry level, when I looked at it, a few years back. Not anymore, thus not the same contest (although I' d argue, if he improved his skill, it's still the better buy) . Save a bit more, buy a SH GO Pano- you don't take the hit, and you get better quality and originality. And don't pay to be a brokie rich guy (chime) to impress nobody. Also, this Silver dial design is a joke.
It's basically unheard of to have this kind of compilation sub 5 figures esp. from a "newer" brand with their own movement. Think that's a big part of the fan fare re: the innovation and the rarity at this price pt.
@@sequoianagamatsu1402 absolutely right. It' s more of a gimmick for the absolute rich. Now, I ask you: do you really need it? Great review! Definitely 'fixes' the issues of the original, namely the legibility of the contrasted roman numerals and the guilloche is 🔥🔥🔥!
