Thank you for your review. I am just getting into making shirts and my husband got me this heat press on Black Friday. He put it together for me as it didn’t have any instructions. Thanks again for taking the time to go over all the items. 😊

Thank you for the this great video. Once I receive my product this Wednesday I will refer to this again. I do have one question. Do I need plug this into a surge protector. I’m receiving different answers. Thank you!
do I need to buy any special paper? I want to make t-shirt design. Also, can I use my computer to make my designs, so I can print them? is the Brother printer a good buy?
Yes. Sublimation paper and also requires sublimation ink. Regular Ink Jet ink will not work. Suggest an Epson over Brother as sublimation ink is more readily available for Epson printers. If budget allows, go with Sawgrass printer.
I've been thinking about a press for a while now, and I even looked hard at this one. If I get it, I'll use your link Roger. Thanks for the review and demo!
Thank you for such a great tutorial. The machine does not come with assembly instructions. What brand of sublimation paper do you use? I did cup but it came hot horrible nothing like yours in the video
Should all the bolts inside the springs be at the same level when press is closed? Mine are at different levels making me think I'm not getting uniform pressure. Can i adjust using those bolts? Yes, I'm a newbie with this one ... just set it up. Thanks. 😊
Hi Roger thank you for your Video helped me a lot. I just don't understand or know what's rhe pressure for or when we used. If I turn the pressure I'm not able to move the press very well it's normal? Thank you
Pressure adjustment level will depend on the project and adjustments are made with the top released and then the knob at the top, then checking for the amount of pressure when you latch the top down. When the top is released, it should swing free and there should be clearance between the top and bottom plates. If there is sufficient clearance, and it is still hard to swing, check that the knob on the back is not too tight.
Roger....YOU DA MAN! Not sure about your instruction book but mine has a line drawing of the correct control box but all of the instructions are using a "Mode" button. I'm glad I found your video. One question concerning the graphic you used.... I couldn't see any yellow on the graphic itself but when you pulled it off the cloth and the mug, there seems to be some light discoloring around the edges. Was it on the original graphic or could it be the coating on the paper that yellowed from the heat? Thanks again for a great video.
I tried doing the heat press cup just like you stated in this video and it didnt work I bought the same paper you stated in your link below and still didnt work. Can you explain more in detail how or what is used to do the mug press?
Not sure if you can assist but i have the same heat press and the height adjustment is not working. Just keeps going around and around and not adjusting the height at all.
Hi, I just received my 5-in-1 VEVOR heat press and I placed it altogether but I am missing that metal sliding bracket for the hat. DO you know where I can get one like that? they did send me another box but it didn't have the piece again, so I am trying to find where I can get it from
Do you mean the silver aluminum track that the hat base slides into? If so, that should have been installed when manufactured. You will probably need to contact the source where you purchased it from. I have no connections with Vevor, so can't help much.
The paper I used in this video is A-Sub. In production, I use Innosub USA or HiiPoo sublimation paper. If your graphics are bleeding, blurring, or ghosting, then you either need to NOT hot peel (crates ghosting), or increase pressure. 385 degrees for 180-190 seconds with heavy pressure makes the best transfer and I always cold peel.
Hi. I set up and tested the heat press today. I checked the temperature readings of the platen and compared it to the read outs on the control box.
