The Texas players this bye week are going to get coached pretty hard, especially because of those fumbles by the running backs and the offensive line with so many penalties. They are going to be more than ready for Oklahoma. Remember that.
Im a vols fan bjt we don't belong in the blame conversation as bama and Georgia after watching that game. Also, Arkansas will be a tough game to win for us next week. Especially after seeing the OU and Auburn game.
I've said this since day one, that Ole Miss will not be very good this season...Mainly because you cannot just build a dream team through the portal and expect them to have any real continuity. Missouri used the portal according to need, and used it well. The Rebels used the portal to build an almost entire roster. Everyone told me that i was basically full of Shhhhh, including this very podcast. They will probably get better, but they will not be elite. If Brady Cook can finally get it together, MISSOURI, not Ole Miss, is or will be elite.
Texas hurt themselves on offense. MSU defense was not much of a factor. They did run the ball well in the first half. Did not score much 6 points until a garbage time TD late in the game. But Texas offense had two bad turnovers. A dropped pass that was right in the hands of a WR that could have easily went for a TD. Too many stupid penalties. Just a very sloppy game. The sloppiness is why I am fine with Texas #3 but I would not be surprised if Texas wins the SEC undefeated.
Texas was too vanilla in the first half. I understand it was probably by design. I mean, you are playing Miss. St. AND your next game is the Red River Shootout. I get it. But, that second half was clearly a different game with play calling. Even still. Arch looked great. It's nice knowing he will be the QB1 after Ewers leaves. What a great season, so far. Personally, I would accept your top 3 in any order. It'll work itself out. Just a good time for great games with my favorite beverage. /subbed
Mike is such an overreacting biased hack even if Texas went undefeated he would put two or three loss teams above them because Texas wasnt an OG SEC member ... he is an entertaining homer but not credible ...
I think Texas at #3 is fair enough. Texas played its worst game of the year. If you did not watch the game then you might think MSU's defense played well. But Texas offense stopped Texas offense more than anything else. The next two games should really say something for Texas. 1-1 is realistically the worst they could do. I can easily see them beating both OU and UGA. Then Texas could be at #1. But these rankings are just for fun anyways.
UT is 8 < 17 against OU in the last 25 years. You have no clue what your are talking about. It’s the RRR, it doesn’t matter if your number 1 or unranked it can go either way bozo.
No need for that, my guy... I would agree with you on the fact that the RRS is a different animal... You could, instead of calling him a bozo, try and describe it like the Iron Bowl.. OU is always a scary game bc these two brothers have a lot of history between the 2 but neither are really anything without the other. Most of the time, it's a wild and classic game.. Hook'Em
Easy there, Land Thief. No need for name calling. As a Texas fan I totally understand your point about the 'RED RIVER SHOOTOUT' (RRR is lame, imo). Anyone who bets on this game is nuts. How many upsets in the last 25 years? 10? 11?
Mike overreacting. UGA had an ALL TIME nightmare start. For one quarter. Then they OUTSCORED them 34-13. Both teams are very even. Don’t TO 4x and it’s a W for the dawgs.
Bama took their foot off the gas in the second half and almost blew the game. As soon as UGA too, the lead Bama's offense finally came back to life and scored easily. DeBoer needs to learn that in the SEC it ain't over til it's over.
Auburn is trash how you have a QB that throws over 300 yards and still lose the game to a sorry ass OU team 😂😂😂
Alabama and UGA decided not to play defense tonight. They will have to play better defense to win a championship.

South Carolina also blew a 17-0 point lead, LSU won on the road bro. Y’all can blame the refs all you want
Yeah, with the starting QB also out
@@ThatSECPodcastHe was out only one quarter..stop being a LSU hater
And next week...Auburn gets an angry Georgia who's going to bend them over and tell their mom's not to look😂

I think cuz Shane lock was Georgia right?
Taylen Green is a bum.
Mike you're crazy Texas#3 lol
You might be right! Longhorns could be #4
Crazy ? Texas still number 1. 5 wins and 0 loses. Learn simple arithmetic.
@ThatSECPodcast denial that Texas is coming in and is the face of the SEC year 1 is hard to handle but you'll catch on soon enough

Couple stops away from winning the game on 34 - 5 run. Def over reaction Mike and how glossed over ya know a 28 point collapse at home
Georgia looking like pretenders so far this season
Champ teams don't give up 21 pts in a quarter. Ole miss gave up 20 in 4 quarters
“Don’t TO 4x and it’s a W”…I think this could be said for just about any team!
@@ThatSECPodcastI mean yeah. I can kinda agree with that so far

Bama Texas Tennessee Georgia Oklahoma in order of the best in the SEC
I guess you have not watched Oklahoma play football this year
I think Texas is the best Texas, Alabama, Tennessee and UGA. But Texas has not played anyone besides Michigan. So right now it is all okay.
Oklahoma??? Yeah okayyy
