I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in the US (Texas). I had to get a Masters Degree in Counseling and pass the licensing exam and then I have to keep up with continuing ed and renew my license every 2 years. I agree with you on the counseling thing. I think there’s not only a place for Tarot in therapy, but there’s a big place for it. I started studying tarot about 5 or so years ago & have kind of stopped and started a few times, but right now I feel a huge drive to learn everything I can so I can incorporate in my therapy practice, thereby deepening the payoff a client gets from a combo of “standard counseling,” meaning what we learned in school and continuing ed, and tarot to enhance and guide us in the specific issues that the client needs to work on. The cards aren’t biased one way or another, so if they bring up an issue a client needs to work on, it’s less “threatening” coming from the cards than it is coming straight from me. I look forward to learning more about Tarot from your channel and some other channels that have complementary practices. Thank you for all you do to teach us!💗
Rotten Strawberry, it's amazing how tarot can help you being present. I feel Tarot is very meditative. I use my tarot cards when my anxiety are hight. It helps me to calm down. I also take 1 Oracle card a day to meditate and try to be Focus on the message I get. I hope you are still enjoying your new hobby. Being present is the perfect present you can give to yourself 💖
When you listen to your intuition, your doing it the right way. We all think in different ways in how we do things. I make my own spreads and they change all the time. The biggest one I do is 21 spread , 3 lines of 7 , starting on the first row at the number 7 card then down to the bottom card , then up the next row then up to the top, and do this all the way a cross, it's brilliant, and some people I do it for love it. Sometimes we have a good laugh doing the reading. It's got to be fun, and it's a amazing what people come out with doing the reading, sometimes it's like you've known them for ever. I just love seeing their faces when reading certain cards and you know then you're on the right track.😀😂🤔🙄😳😐😏😣☹️😐🤐🙁and so on and so on. Tarots great!

The first time I did tarot for someone she said it was scary accurate in the weeks following. After that, it was like I "lost the magic" so I don't know what to think now.
P.S. The times I have had tarot done for me all they kept pulling was the judgment card and most got freaked out by that and I think I've been even hung up upon on more than one time because of that. So this is another issue I'm facing.

your fun to watch I just started to practice tarot a few months ago. I picked up this hobby to battle my bipolar disorder! Its helped out alot!
