    Readings: Job 38: 1, 8-11; Psalm 107: 23-24, 25-26, 28-29, 30-31; 2 Corinthians 5: 14-17; Mark 4: 35-41
The readings for the twelfth Sunday in Ordinary time year B, invite us to reflect on the power of God over creation, the transformative love of Christ, and the faith we are called to have even in the midst of life's storms.
In the first reading from the Book of Job, we are reminded of the majestic power of God, who alone can command the sea and establish its limits. As humans, we often try to grasp control of our lives and surroundings, forgetting that it is God who is ultimately in charge. The reading challenges us to acknowledge our smallness in the face of God's greatness and to trust in His providence.
