Neelkantheswar is a famous Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva in the Green Mountainous region of Northern India.The main features of the Lord Shiva is unique and has three heads which is considered to be the one and only avatr of the Lord Shiva.It is believed that the idol of the Lord Shiva camed from the mountain Kailash itself and the temple was bulit around it. There is a very huge fair (Mela) every year during the Maha Shivaratri festival. This day is considered to be the day Lord Shiva married Goddess Parvati.
