- Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and TSF Dalera BB are simply ‘magnifique’! 👌
The formidable pair brought a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ to the arena this evening at the FEI Dressage World Cup™ Final presented by Havensafe Farm, as they danced their Freestyle to a medley of French music that had the crowd can-canning in their seats. 💃
For their emotional performance, the pair scored a whopping 90.482% but Jessica was quick to point out she owed it all to her special mare. 🥹

how wonderful, a perfect example of a well trained horse presented in classical dressage as we cannot see often these days
Is it? I am not so sure. The hind drops and loads beautiful in piaffe, sure, but there is much tail swishing and this horse does get behind the vertical. Proportionally, for such a large/long horse, her neck looks awfully short--perhaps from contraction? I am not familiar with this rider or her training techniques. One would think that at least the Germans would know better than to use Rolkur, but that has not been the case unfortunately...

The music is not good at all. Cause it doesn't have the magic in it like a Valegro's, Salimero, Tolitas' or Bella Rose 's music. It is a music for a old wrinkled hag.
I wonder when the commentators will learn how to pronounce Dalera correctly. It has somehow bothered me since the last Olympics (I'm not sure if it was the same guy back then that it is here). I mean, it is not a difficult name and he got it in the beginning. At the end it was somehow wrong again.

Finally they recognize grooms!
Two years earlier was better. Dalera is not so chilled anymore. She become smaller in her Neck, her tail is restless. Maybe all too much, for this wonderful, sensitiv horse. For me, horses like them, needs rest, for one year.
She did rest for most of the season while von Bredow-Werndl was on maternity leave. Dalera only went to very few competitons towards the end of the season and von Bredow-Werndl even said, Dalera was a little spooked in Omaha during her first test and going for a few more competitions would have been beneficial. They were only allowed to compete, because they were the defending champions, they did not compete enough to collect enough points to qualify. Dalera had a pretty chill season this year.
Her tail has been restless in previous years also. Her neck position was on point, her piaffe and passage were very good (no dragging of the hoofs, nice high and smooth movements) and her transitions very smooth as butter. She did very well, but was lacking competitions this year.
her tail has always been restless just look at her Olympic performance. I think it's just how she works. But I agree that the previous program was smoother somehow. But I guess their break while Jessica was on maternity leave has probably been to do with that. I don't think rest has been a problem. As the first commentator said they didn't compete very much before that

Not all, Klimkes daughter is her groom. And Werths groom is working in a Baumarkt and grooming the weekend.

@@lynni3461 she is called " Schweini " and there from the very beginning of Isabells career. She is working by a local Obi. Germans can be very based.

Extended trot was a joke and the collected Walk as well, liked that the horse was pretty much was infront of the vertical most times and the piaffe was achieved without excessive spurring which I personally thought was a blast

Oh diese Innen Zügel: bitte in Ruhe lassen. und Bitte gehe mehr vor mit der äußeren Zügel in der Traversale: das Pferd muss sein Hals biegen und das kann er nicht wenn du ihm nicht den Platz lässt.
This music did not impress me!
Das schweif schlagen ist nicht schön auch die wechsel im hinter Bein nicht gut .Für mich wird das pferd zuviel in Himmel gehoben ...Es gibt besserer
