Back into cryptids starting with The Jersey Devil! This guy actually turned out a lot creepier than I expected lol. I really enjoyed the sculpting process on this one. I'm always trying to avoid making wings, but then here I realized they're actually NOT that bad. I think the last time I made a serious set of wings was for the giraffe to dragon sculpt I did 40,000 years ago. Let me know if you want to see another cryptid next week. Thank you for supporting my work! Be sure to check out the new supplies I have on my site when you have a sec. I'm so excited about it lol. Thank you for being here! ❤
Is there a place that you go or like a social media thing were we can trade cause how are we supposed to know who collects them and what to trade I want to know because I completed a whole set except the butcher baker and candlestick maker and to be honest that’s really the only one that I wanted and I also completed a set of 5
Of course we want more cryptids! I went to cryptids wikia and ho boy there's a LOT to choose. But you were mentioning more common ones, I know many will want Bigfoot and Nessie but I'm hoping to see your version of Mongolian Death Worm or a drop bear.
Great sculpture as always! I remember watching "Monsterquest" on the History channel and there was an episode about the Jersey Devil. One hypothesis for what it was, was a Hammerhead bat. When you look at a photo of one it does have a horse like head and face and is a rather large species of bat. Who knows!?
As Mother Leeds watched her thirteenth child fly up the chimney and out of the house, face pale in horror, a deathly calm set over the room. Father Leeds, ever a man of few words, spoke up around the pipe in the corner of his mouth, "That boy ain't right, I tell you hwhaht."
I think you did an awesome job on the Jersey Devil. He is very scary. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near him even though I've driven on the Jersey turnpike and the Garden State Parkway many times while living in Philadelphia traveling to Maine and back. Never saw anything of him . Thankfully. I think you should do Bigfoot next but it may be quite challenging because of all the fur. Are you up to the challenge? 😊❤😅 I think you could do it! 😀❤
Snallygaster (or as my backwood Appalachian father (born 1928) called it, the Snarlygaster) -As kids in the backwoods mountains we were always told to make sure we came in before it got dusk or at least stay in the edges of the wood. Don't be out in the open area where the SnarlyGaster could fly down and pick you up and take you and eat you. German immigrants in the Appalachian mountains saw them all the way back in journals and oral history as early as the 1600s--- I'm loving this sculpt!!! Thanks for bringing to life one of my childhood fears 😊
Follow-up She may have a beak but legends kinda lack the beak some do mention a owl type beak Others say she has long black hair Legends say she also has huge almond shaped or owl black eyes with glowing ember like pupils Face of a haggard old woman Black feathers as a raven Talons of those of owls or eagles I assume
I absolutely ADORE cryptids so as soon as I saw this I clicked and liked it. You made it look so cool! I look forward to you making other cryptids (there are tons of really weird ones! Especially in the Appalachian mountains). Especially if you decide to make the Loch Ness Monster.
Suggestion: Black Shuck, the ghostly black dog from British folklore. To make him look more interesting than just a black dog, there is one version that describes him as having one eye thats on his forehead like a cyclops
I would LOVE to see you make Nessie! She is hands down my favorite cryptid! I have been extremely fascinated by her ever since I was a little girl. It’s probably because she is a plesiosaur and I’m a huge dinosaur geek😂 Would also love to see your interpretation of El Chupacabra, one of my other favorites! Also the Beast of Bray Road and the one and only Bigfoot (Sasquatch), which is my dad’s favorite, he actually used to do a lot of Bigfoot hunting when I was younger😂
Awesome work on your New Jersey devil. Have you ever made Mothman ? Also you should do Dinosaur and Older Mammoth Saber Tooth Tiger and others, just saying you’re excellent on all your work💜
Love your attention to detail and painting techniques. Great definition. In South Texas, 22:42 we have a chupacabra. Please add it to your list of cryptids.
Ya know, standing within sight of my cousin's house in the pine barrens, I can understand why the early settlers came up with monsters there. I did not grow up in NJ, the folks moved us to Texas for a job when I was a tot. But despite being settled so early during the European settlement times, there is a lot of NJ that just isn't very friendly to humans. Probably good for hunting, but not agriculture, at least not in the marshes or pine barrens.
Just wanted to say thank you for selling the wood bases. I repaint monster high, etc. dolls & they are the perfect size for them. Just ordered them too! Thanks again!!
The Jersey Devil has always been one of my favorite Cryptids and this one looks amazing! I also love Mothman, The Fresno Nightcrawlers and Sheepsquatch, would love to see you make those!
I had this friend in 4th grade (she moved after) who was absolutely obsessed with the Jersey devil to the point that any mention of it still make me think of her even though it's been over 20 years. Watching this for you Sarah! 😂
Gorgeous work as always! I would loooove to see your take on the Hodag from Wisconsin logging lore! I's very silly but could be scary if it was made just right!
Yay! I love cryptids. It looks great. Can you do the Fresno nightcrawler? I know there isn't much info about them and just a head with legs, but I would still like to see your version.
Typing this at the beginning of the video can’t wait to see the finish product. I don’t know about Sasquatch because it’s just a tall furry humanoid looking thing I can’t see how interesting that would be you’re talented. The Loch Ness monster would be fun, but that would be huge.
Cool concept! Would love to see an entire series of cryptids. One detail complaint though. I thought you said it was supposed to have goat hooves. Well goat hooves are cloven, you made them more like horse hooves.
Love your sculptures. Do you know of Jhonen Vasquez? He wrote Invader Zimm, but I think you have funny doing Johnny the Homicidal Maniac. He has those long limbs and exaggerated proportions you like.
That looks so good! Since I am from WV I would love to see you do Mothman. We had another monster near Mason county WV that was more of a werewolf like creature but haven't heard all the details. It supposed attacked I child when they went to lock up their schoolhouse after a meeting. They sent out parties to chase it down but have only heard one story about it.
Excellent work as usual! Would you ever do a quick video on sculpting hands? They are my weakest area. If u can I would so appreciate it. Either way ur the best!
I love cryptic lore and folklore. I'm thinking Mothman Swamp man Fae Leprechaun Tree faerie Are just some I would love to see. Another amazing cryptic sculpture. Very realistic.
If you're going to keep making more cryptids (which i am hoping) may I suggest ajattara. It's sort of similar to harpy, but is often described as having breast that hung on their knees, and is a mixture of a woman and a dragon. Its part of Finnish mythology and I've always found them to be quite interesting.
Love the details! Another success! And the legend is HAUNTING! On my blog I started posting cryptids from each state! I would love to see Alaska's creepy legend: The Kushtaka of the Alaska Triangle - on average 1000 people go missing every year here. According to the Tlingit tribe it is because of evil spirits called the Kushtaka that shape-shift into half-human half otter with fake cries luring people to the water only to drown them.

Yay. I love cryptids
Sasquatch pretty please 🙏🏻. If you make him in scale with the Jersey Devil the sculpture will be huge lol
Is there a place that you go or like a social media thing were we can trade cause how are we supposed to know who collects them and what to trade I want to know because I completed a whole set except the butcher baker and candlestick maker and to be honest that’s really the only one that I wanted and I also completed a set of 5

ACE! Day one here 👋🏼 Those muscles are muscling 💪🏾 😮oop 😍 you're so handsome😊
All who want to see this genius make The Mothman say AYE
Mothman on the bridge
AYE
Aye!
aye
AYE
A chupacabra would be amazing! It has always been my favorite cryptid! ❤️
This looks really good! I’d love to see Bigfoot, Mothman, the Goatman, and maybe even Nessie done in this potential series 👍
I wanna see those, and add a skin walker to the mix
@@morissaedwards7348 that would be really cool too!
Make Mothman!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

When you look at a photo of one it does have a horse like head and face and is a rather large species of bat. Who knows!?
And the screaming is probably owls.
I remember watching that episode too!
You gotta do The Mothman of Point Pleasant West Virginia at some point!
Seconding this! Show Mothman some love, please!

Awesome! I was thinking the same thing!

Nice!
Love Cryptids!
They're always fascinating!
Another cryptid you should sculpt is La lechuza a giant owl witch which has a face like a old crone feathers that are black and huge talons
Follow-up
She may have a beak but legends kinda lack the beak some do mention a owl type beak
Others say she has long black hair
Legends say she also has huge almond shaped or owl black eyes with glowing ember like pupils
Face of a haggard old woman
Black feathers as a raven
Talons of those of owls or eagles I assume

Manticores or maybe a Sphinx.
As a proud Canadian, I must request Ogopogo for your list!!! 🇨🇦
I would also like to see your take on Mothman!!!
Awesome job!!! ❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I'm a huge fan of cryptids so can you please make this a big series please 🥺🙏

You made mother Leeds proud. Great Jersey Devil. Mothman next please.
Awesome work on your New Jersey devil. Have you ever made Mothman ? Also you should do Dinosaur and Older Mammoth Saber Tooth Tiger and others, just saying you’re excellent on all your work💜
that is creepy AF!!! Sasquatch would be awesome!!
The Jersey Devil is my favorite cryptid! I've been fascinated by it for AGES.
Yay!! I feel like there is so little art about our Jersey Devil.
Love your attention to detail and painting techniques. Great definition. In South Texas, 22:42 we have a chupacabra. Please add it to your list of cryptids.
This video takes me back to when watched Monsterquest. I love to see you do the Loch Ness monster!
@aceofclay how ‘bout a series of “7 Deadly Sins” sculpts? That would be AMAZING!
Please make querzalcoatl. I think you could make a super cool sculpture of it! Great job on the devil!
I love the world of cryptids! Great job!!!!
Ya know, standing within sight of my cousin's house in the pine barrens, I can understand why the early settlers came up with monsters there. He is excellent… Bigfoot of course…. He’s my favorite!
Every time I watch your channel I’m so excited to se a movie with ur characters, you are so amazing
Just wanted to say thank you for selling the wood bases. I repaint monster high, etc. dolls & they are the perfect size for them. Just ordered them too! Thanks again!!
My daughters and I love watching your videos! You should make Mothman!
The hooves, wings and fur are AMAZING!! You rock Anthony ❤️❤️❤️
Turned out great. Would love to see bigfoot or wendigo.
I'm obsessed with Mothman so I would love to see you sculpt him. Great work on the Jersey Devil as well
i would watch anything you post but as someone with a special interest in cryptids this made me squeal in excitement
unfortunately my favorite one is the fresno nightcrawler and i think that would be too easy for a sculpting video 😅
My favorite cryptid! Thank you.
Really enjoyed this character. So creative ❤ the story this character goes on is running around my head. Really sparked my imagination x
The Jersey Devil has always been one of my favorite Cryptids and this one looks amazing!
I also love Mothman, The Fresno Nightcrawlers and Sheepsquatch, would love to see you make those!
Ooooo, the jersey devil is one of my personal fav cryptids. I hope you do the chupacabra or moth man next
I’m so happy you did a cryptid I can’t wait to see more! Of course I want to see my fave MOTHMAN!! This came out so good!
Yes! Love cryptids. The Devil looks great. Hope you get to a bunch more!
Great job on making this creative creature
I had this friend in 4th grade (she moved after) who was absolutely obsessed with the Jersey devil to the point that any mention of it still make me think of her even though it's been over 20 years. Watching this for you Sarah! 😂
Would love to see a Wendigo sculpture and a Chupacabra sculpture. I live in Northern Alberta, Canada and grew up with stories of the Wendigo.
This was great. I enjoy the stories with the sculpt. Thank you 🦇💞
YES! Cryptid time let's goooooooo!!!
Certainly awesome!
I freaking love cryptids!! Plz do a mothman in your styleeeee
Genuinely my favourite sculpture you've done so far this year.
Knew nothing about it so thank you for the info as well. 😁
Would love to see you make the Squonk from my home state of Pennsylvania! I feel like its blobby texture would be a fun challenge to sculpt
Out standing!!!
He is wickedly delightful. I remember hearing stories of him as a child...great job.
I think you could do Mothman justice in your style too.
Just turned the video on and this creature looks awesome ...
Great build. Thanks for the story on this creature. Didn't know any of this.
looks amazing can't wait for the next one
Bring on the cryptids!😍
awesome work! I'm planning on making my own RUclips channel on sculpting thank you for inspiring me
My favorite cryptid!! Knocked it outta the park!!!
He looks so cool, make more cryptids!
He turned out amazing!!!
Gorgeous work as always! I would loooove to see your take on the Hodag from Wisconsin logging lore! I's very silly but could be scary if it was made just right!
Omigosh what a fricken great potential series! So many cool creatures you could put your spin on!
From NJ and love your version, one of the best!
He looks fantastic! ❤
Wow! The sculpt came out so well! Your painting and shading is incredible .
Love the cryptids! Would love to see classic Bigfoot ❤
Love it! Cryptids are the coolest :D Moth man next pleaaaase
Yay! I love cryptids. It looks great. Can you do the Fresno nightcrawler? I know there isn't much info about them and just a head with legs, but I would still like to see your version.
I think something similar to this should appear in the Mutant Universe
Typing this at the beginning of the video can’t wait to see the finish product. I don’t know about Sasquatch because it’s just a tall furry humanoid looking thing I can’t see how interesting that would be you’re talented. The Loch Ness monster would be fun, but that would be huge.

Amazing work!!!
I love cryptic lore and folklore. I'm thinking
Mothman
Swamp man
Fae
Leprechaun
Tree faerie
Are just some I would love to see. Another amazing cryptic sculpture. Very realistic.
More of this. MORE!
We have several here in Arkansas. The Ozark Howler, Gowrow, Fouke Monster, White River Monster, and the Heber Springs Water Panther.

Mothman, Goatman, skinwalker and a werewolf!
Love the cryptids!!!!❤❤❤
Your sculptures are always so good! Can you do the Tikbalong from Philippine folklore next? That'd be so dope👏🙌
This is phenomenal!!
Can we have Mothman next, please?
Looking good Anthony!!! ❤✌️😍🥰 and what a great Creature 😈💀 Ur the best 🤘
Mothman please!!!!! I did a bigfoot sculpt recently as well ❤

AWWW its actually really cute! keep it up homie
Always enjoy your work, no matter what the ‘chosen one’ is… all creatures become awesome under your spell !
Great job love to see you make the Moth Man from West Virginia .
Mothman maybe this could be another series
Wow what a great work of art never heard of this legend ( I’m English) but won’t turn the lights off tonight lol thanks ❤
Want more cryptids? Look into the clash of the cryptids card game! More monsters, more sculptures!
I live in the exact area the Jersey devil is from!! 🖤🖤🖤
Great stuff! How about the Dover Demon or Mothman next?
Can you make evil ringmaster or evil magician
Mothman next?
Everyone’s gonna say Mothman and Bigfoot, but I’d really love to see the Loveland Frogman or the Fresno Nightcrawler!
