I just want to take a moment to really extend my most sincere thanks to this channel for posting this, and on top of that posting timestamps. Sincerely, thank you. I was searching for this kind of music everywhere, and at last, the search is over. Thank you.
I'm in the USA and have been hoping to find a long playing list like this with many different tracks all in one. I have played the shorter 2-3 hour ones I've found to play while I take a nap and wake up relaxed and refreshed. I like it when there are different tracks in one because sometimes my mind will find the same pattern in the looped ones and I start to focus on the pattern, and can't fall to sleep, or lovely youtube likes to pause to check if I'm still listening when I put several smaller ones together in a playlist. I'll try this one tonight and know I'll sleep will for sure! Thanks!
This kind of music is absolutely not fit for studying, but if you are calmly watching nature, beautiful rain, flower petals fall down from sky, then you can feel the heart of the artist who play this....
I'm reading a book, Tales of Japan when I paused for a moment to play this music. In the story, on the next paragraph it reads, "the two Princesses came in and performed on the koto, and sang and danced in turns." Interesting coincidence that the characters begin playing Japanese instruments in this ancient tale only seconds after I begin listening to it myself. Almost as if some ancient spirit guided me to this music to pair with the story to come.
It was Memoirs of A Geisha that got me interested. I wish I could find that music that accompanied her dance. Its my favorite piece; whoever played that plucked some mean strings (laugh)!
Thank you so much for including the works of Nanae Yoshimura, I absolutely adore these pieces and it's amazing to have them here to listen to for sleeping
02:24:17 Moegi - I thought this sounded super familiar, then I remembered. If you play any of the Asian Civs in Civ V, this *exact* recording is actually one of the background tracks!

The artists who made them. Which are now all dead or reincarnated. So have fun entering the spiritual realm and finding them and somehow convincing a feudal Japanese person who would likely despise that kind of music to allow you to make that.

This is the most somber, yet pleasant music I’ve ever heard.

At the moment. When you layed down. And started to listen this music. You started to studying something else.
You're so right

I was never interested in this sort of music... but sadly it was an anime who brought me here... I am in love with it. It is so beautiful🥺🥺😭
Sadly? Not so! Doesn't matter how you got here. Enjoy....
May I know which anime it is? I’d reli like to watch one that features traditional Japanese music!

その後奈良時代に外国の琴が伝来して現在の和琴になっていったみたい。
