Michael Landon was one of the few actors who could make me cry. Especially in his role on Highway To Heaven. All of his shows were family oriented and there was no filth like too many shows today. Rest in peace Michael. 🌹🕯
You just absolutely summed it up on what I was thinking. Highway to Heaven was my go to show in my childhood. Children in this day and age should be subject to this heartfelt way of life and the lessons it teaches. Praying that they can recreate a newer version similar to this just to teach right from wrong again.. Michael Landon always pulled my heart strings.. Miss him dearly!
I watched Landon's final interview from the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. By that time he knew he wouldn't be alive for much longer but he didn't let his cancer get the best of him. I'll always admire his bravery as he battled cancer.
I watched it also. Crying . he was a brave man. His life was short but he had a good life . He's better now with Jesu's and all his bonanza family. He still has that special laugh . See you one day .
I used to watch Little House on the Prairie with my mom growing up. I grew to love it just as my mom did. There are so many great sentimental memories from watching that show with both my mom and grandma. R.i.p. Michael Landon.
I still watch Highway to heaven..can’t help but to enjoy a message in each episode and get teary eyed.he was amazing on screen just as he was off..truly a gift of a person with a amazing heart.
My brother who is 57 years old is named after him as my mum had a big crush on him. I watched his shows all the time when I was a kid! What an absolute beautiful resting place he has there and lovely to know the rest of his family will join him there too 💞

Pancreatic cancer is devastating as there are no symptoms until it's a bit too late. They are making strides on treatments. My grandmother passed away from it as had her father. It tends to strike a little too early in peoples lives, cutting their lives way too short. RIP Michael Landon, you were loved and respected in life and that love continues now.
One of my favorite shows when I was a kid was Highway To Heaven, him and Victor French's character would go on special assignments to aid people in trouble. I would like to think that they are actually doing just that. Rest In Peace to both.
Ty Scott, this was a hard one to watch! My father had just been diagnosed with cancer and passed away almost a month before Michael Landon. I remember dad talking about him, probably wonder if Michael would beat cancer. Strange now all those years ago. Again awesome Scott! Kiss Shady for me! ♥️

Hey Scott 🙋🏽. I hope you are having a wonderful Evening. I HAD the biggest crush on Michael Landon. I was really Sad when he passed. Thank you for this video 📸👍🏽
I ❤️ loved Little House on the Prairie. I used to run home from school on a Thursday afternoon to watch it. Was my 😍 favourite. A lovely man who was taken too young Thankyou for the video Scott x
Thanks Scott for sharing this video I loved Michael Landon bc I grew up watching bonanza and Little House on the prairie......both good shows and of course high way to heaven......I loved all the ppl in all the shows with Michael Landon.... I didn't know his sin had died so sad at 60...🙏😢. Rip Michael and your son too....I was a big fan
What a beautiful place to be laid to rest. Some spots even looked like a typical English garden. Such a terrible way for anyone to lose their life, so I hope he is now at peace. Thank you for sharing this. ✌
Beautiful cemetery, I watched Michael Landon from when he was in Bonanza, and Little House brilliant shows. Thank you Scott for showing this video, god bless and take carexx

Yes! And if you go to the Television Academy in LA you will see his bust that says Performer, Director - one of the very few that has more than one credit. I actually was responsible for getting that corrected just this past Spring. For almost 30 years it just said Performer but after I visited I realized there was an error. He was there because of all of his many skills and talents not just his acting. So, I started writing to the Academy and they agreed that it was a mistake not to have included his other skills. Unfortunately, their rules stated they could only ever list TWO so they asked the family which one to add to Performer and they chose Director. Then COVID interfered. 🙄But just this past Spring this mistake was fnally corrected. So - the next time you visit LA stop in : 5220 Lankersheim Blvd. 🤩
This one was an emotional one for me. We watched all of his shows from Bonanza on. Sadly, my father passed of pancreatic cancer about six years after Michael. My oldest brother and I got involved in research at John Hopkins as the Landon family worked with the hospital to fund many studies at this hospital including trials to see if it was hereditary. My brother was so sure he was going to get it but he died of leukemia at 53. Michael was a great actor and so handsome and he just had the special something that made you feel good just watching him. Gone but never forgotten! 🌻💞💜

It's sad to realize Michael Landon died at 54, now that I'm days away from turning 56. He was stricken and taken from us way too soon in life. To have accomplished so much in 30ish years on screen is astounding. My mom's fear of werewolves came at the hand of Landon's 1957 flick "I Was A Teenage Werewolf". Thanks for another respectful visit to the resting departed, Scott. I'd ride shotgun and kick in on gas money with you any time!
Loved him in The Little House On The Prairie & Highway To Heaven, thanks for doing this Scott. Michael Landon was a joy to watch his characters on both shows. He really was a kind hearted humble man, with a lot class. That's how I choose to remember him by because that's how he truly was to me. As always you do these videos with a lot respect & do a great tribute to all of them. That cemetery is so beautiful. RIP Michael Landon 🙏🙏🕊🕊

Wow! I never realized he was 54! Seems like he was so much older. I loved Michael Landon in Little House on the Prairie. To think, I will be 54 in 5 years. Seems crazy! Thank you for this video, Scott!

Michael Landon passed on so young. Thank you for the contribution you made by making the best show in my lifetime. I know it will live forever, as it should. We love you Michael and Little House on the Prairie gives me a home to come home to and be a part of a family I wish I had. I purchase as many of the episodes that I could. I love that Melissa Gilbert grew up there and she values to this day what she learned in that Town. The people there are so real and so wonderful. Yes all of them
I fell in love with little joe when i was a child watching bonanza. I then loved him even more on little house as i raised my children. Ive watched highway to heaven as i learnt to use my mobile. I am 69 years old and love him still though he is gone. He remains part of my life as no one else has. A great talant but still a man not perfect by any means. But he left behind a legacy for those of us who watched laughed cried and wished we could have lived in the past. You see some of us dont fit in the time we were born. I am one of them. Time to get out my dvd collection and watch it all yet again. Thank you micheal. 🤗🐈😊
Beautiful video Scott. If I’m not mistaken, I believe Michael is resting not very far away from Lorne Greene who played his Pa on Bonanza. Seems very fitting that they would be close to each other. Stay well Scott!
And how legendary Little house on the prairie is? For many decades, year after year. Little house on the prairie the whole serie will be on television in Holland. And i love it every episode 😢✌️❤️
Great tribute Scott. Very talented man in front of the camera and off it. The thing that impressed me most about Michael when during the filming of The fifth season of Highway to Heaven when his good friend and co actor Victor French passed away to lung cancer. Instead of carrying on with the series he ended it shortly after Victor's death. Respect. RIP Michael and Victor.
I don't miss a lot of famous people when they die, because their work is always around. I TRULY miss Michael Landon.... he was such a great guy.... and was a "father" figure to a lot of people.
Thanks for doing this he was such an icon especially for me growing up in the 80s with little house re runs and highway to heaven id look into Victor Frech as well he was a very important part of his career thanks for the videos brother
R.I.P. Michael my mum fancied him like mad. Thanks for sharing Scott i live in england and it's nice to watch vids like this because I'll never get to visit.
My father absolutely loved the show highway to heaven. It was one of his favorites and every time I watch it I think of him. Thank you legend for making all of us happy
My mom was a fan of Michael before she passed in 89 at the age of 44 of a brain aneurysm, we'd watch Little house and Highway to Heaven together and she'd tell me about the time she got so scared as a kid watching him turn into a monster in "I was a teenage werewolf". I sure miss you mom, hope you finally got to meet him up there.
Nothing cracks me like the last episode of Little House on the Prairie when he has the huge beard and is looking up at the stone cross. It's the expression and the beard that cracks me up.
Whenever I watched the movie Little house on the prairie and highway to heaven I always cried with the role of a Michael Landon, rest in peace Michael..!

@@SCOTTONTAPE - thank you for this. The man drank too much for sure. And it certainly contributed to his cancer - along with his smoking and bad eating habits. He admitted this himself. But never, ever, ever a "drunk" much less a mean drunk. I find it difficult to imagine his son ever said this. Although his TV special about his dad was less than flattering - and according to ML's friends and people who worked for him and with him it was not a fair representation . But Jr. was trying to make a name in the business and also I'm sure, wanted to please his mother who had been devastated at the time of the divorce. Understandable but unforgiveable as far as I am concerned. He has since never said a bad word that I have ever found about him. Most recently - the 30th anniversary of his passing in an ad for the Pancreatic Cancer Org he said he could never love him enough. He was always his hero. Michael Landon a mean drunk? Never!!! BTW - thank you for this. I have been there. Left several stones. Seen his house and visited the Television Academy to view his bust. I have my own FB page and RUclips Channel dedicated to him but I still wept when watching this. Great job. Sensitively narrated. I love that you got so many views and comments.
He was a part of my childhood and youth watching TV in the 70s and 80s 🇩🇪. RIP ML
Beautiful video Scott. If I’m not mistaken, I believe Michael is resting not very far away from Lorne Greene who played his Pa on Bonanza. Seems very fitting that they would be close to each other. Stay well Scott!
YES! I visited "Pa" after spending some time with "Little Joe".😄
R.I.P. Michael, you were loved by many ❤and we miss you
And how legendary Little house on the prairie is? For many decades, year after year. Little house on the prairie the whole serie will be on television in Holland. And i love it every episode 😢✌️❤️
When I was younger I watched Bonanza all the time. Landon was one of my favorites.
Loved little house on the prairie! Rip
Michael London boy you Will be remember by generation after generation you work is always alive with us,
RIP buddy
Great man loved the show too
I remember as a kid watching him and he was so easy to like, he just warmed you up inside as a person.
I loved this SO MUCH!!💓💓💓
My father absolutely loved the show highway to heaven. It was one of his favorites and every time I watch it I think of him. Thank you legend for making all of us happy
Love you’re videos
My mom was a fan of Michael before she passed in 89 at the age of 44 of a brain aneurysm, we'd watch Little house and Highway to Heaven together and she'd tell me about the time she got so scared as a kid watching him turn into a monster in "I was a teenage werewolf". I sure miss you mom, hope you finally got to meet him up there.
Michael Landon was born on Halloween...hmm.
👋 Scott bananza, little House on the prairie, highway to heaven, i watched them all what a great actor and producer. Michael Landon R.I.P 🙏🌹
Nothing cracks me like the last episode of Little House on the Prairie when he has the huge beard and is looking up at the stone cross. It's the expression and the beard that cracks me up.
He was a amazing young actor and I lived all the films he made and the series of little house in the prairie
Michael Landon will forever be missed! Such a great actor, director. A beautiful person. I will always love him! Rest peacefully!

Michael Landon helped some much on this earth now god has him to help in heaven...love much miss you Michael....god speed....😀
I always heard he was a mean drunk from his son and several co stars etc.
I still liked him and he was obviously still fairly popular and I do appreciate this video and all the videos u spend the time making for us
I don’t know, there are rumors about everyone . I didn’t feel like adding any into this video.
@@SCOTTONTAPE yeah no not n a tribute video or so to speak tribute. I get that.
I'd still like to figure out the Curt Cobain real deal honestly, my thoughts on it may b inappropriate here but I just dont believe it happened like we r told it did.
I love ur videos some make me cry, ur such a nicd big hearted guy
@@SCOTTONTAPE that's what I love about your videos.
I have enjoyed the video as well as the comments!! Thank you again!!😄♥
Beautiful tribute thank you.
Thank you so much, Scott. I've always liked Michael Landon and all his work. Love, from Portugal
He was a rare-one of a kind person. Loved his shows,an exceptional actor..
