- Something about a new 2021 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 really gets me excited! The stock GT500 exhaust is so loud and amazing! I love the digital gauges too! This was a in depth detail from Status Detail. We are serving the greater Chicagoland area.
This GT500 received our Drivers Package. This includes a in depth wash, paint correction, PPF, Ceramic Coatings, Window Tint and a bunch of little things to ensure the customer got the best detail possible.

You got a lot of my customers from Instagram over the last couple years. Now you do is creating a huge push for my business because the videos are getting decent views.
PPF is also help the business grow pretty well so even if you don't know how to do that having a vendor you trust that can do it for you and then you take a margin cut can be really good for you same thing with Tint. If you're just starting out be good at maintenance details paint correction and ceramic. They can take you pretty far

Is the GT500 a difficult vehicle to apply PPF too because of all the edges on that front grill? Just curious!
It's definitely a more complicated front than a car that's more smooth like a 911 or Tesla. Any hard right angles and multiple vents increases difficulty and time. Typically increasing cost potentially

Quick question man, do you use the Kirkland yellow towels for buffing off the ceramic ? Just a bit worried, some people say some packs aren’t good quality and will scratch the paint
Yes I do. Then I throw the towels in the trash. Ceramic totally ruins towels. Some people soak them In water after to try and save them. Not worth the risk to me.
You can definitely get a bad batch but it's rare. You can feel the bad ones. They are just off.
Besides that you just need to hold the edge slightly up. Because they stitch the edges and if you push on that funny you could scratch the car.
I use high end towels for other things. Especially drying!
The Kirkland towels are handy for interior too. They are kinda my throw away towel because they are so inexpensive
