This was a total eye opener for me. Learning that my favourite director struggles with drawing the same way I do, and yet that doesn't stop from making awesome movies. So my dream can come through once I keep pushing hard for it!😊😊😊
Hi! Do you perhaps have a place where I could see your artwork? You have peaked my interest haha!
Wonderful interview. Pete is one of the finest directors working in animation today.
True and all the Pixar directors
Its truly inspiring how the best pixar director (in my opinion) struggles to draw and yet his movies are some of the best animated movies ever. Truly Inspiring.
Pete's the man a true inspiration
Eighty2 Blahzays he definitely gave away what inside out was he explained the entire message
My inspiration of going through school everyday.I seriously want to follow in his foot steps.
+Gent M What are you studying right now?
James Down I'm on my last High School year.I have to choose carefully where I want to go in College.
Gent M Me too :D. But I think I will be doing engineering and pursuing animation on the side. I know a couple of people that did animation that cannot find work. Unless you go to calarts, in which case you are guaranteed work
James Down Yeah well I am thinking studying English and Animation.I don't live in USA (yet) so I need to have things sorted out to move to USA hopefully, and if my animation dream fails,I will still have English.Plus I still need to improve the language.
Gent M Smart, always have a back up plan. My dad gave me an advice I always remember: "If you want to succeed in your passion (animation) than you have to truly love it. And if you truly love it, you will do it regardless of if it's your job or not"
Animation is not a genre it is a meticulous artist tool that can portray any story you want to make out of it
What a nice interview. He asked everything i always wanted to know. Some kinda uncomfortable, really, but professional only. High quality content.
John Lasseter had his moments, but his students nails Pixar's best moments.
From the look if it, Lasseter's moments at Pixar could soon be over for good.
John Lassiter is over ratted
!!! I loved this.
Happy Birthday to Peter Hans Docter.10-9-68.MN
