These seasons are supposed to be about Ovechkin chasing down the record and Dubois gradually overtaking as the next superstar. Instead others are doing the job and they’re going for the Stanley cup. Curious about next season. This team looks great. I hope they can keep these guys together next season and beyond.

I hope Ovi breaks the record, but I’m glad he isn’t the focus. I think the Caps have done the right thing in developing a well rounded team rather than focusing on pushing him over the edge to the detriment of the team.
