I made homemade chicken nuggets last year they was so good. Taste better than store brands. You taste the real chicken in the nuggets when it's made from scratch.

Recipe was spot on. Tasted just like the restaurant. One thing that puts these nuggets ahead of McD’s is the leftover factor. McD’s nuggets are amazing fresh and hot but once they cool down the texture changes and they’re kinda gross if we’re bein’ honest. These reheated, even in the microwave, amazingly. Idk if I’m explaining correctly but while this was fun to try, making these were both super easy and labor intensive. I found myself being over it during the forming stage. So by the time I got to the second fry (which I don’t think it optional if you’re trying to copycat McD’s) I was really done. However if you’re doing this for kids, it’s very much worth it. Anyway, SimplyMama is the best and I love this content.
The missing ingredient that other RUclipsrs overlook is the ginger paste. The McDonalds S & S sauce has a subtle ginger flavor to it and you nailed it!
I made these yesterday! Taste just like the real ones!!! (I made them in the air fryer) Sweet n sour sauce was delicious as well! Pretty close to the real one. (But I used passion fruit puree)
I made these today and they were sooooo good, i used regular pepper and knorr and all the other measurements and procedures were the same and wow these will be a family favorite!!! Thank you so much

I have been living off of a bite here of whatever is left on my kiddos plates, a protein shake there, boiled eggs, avocado toast and coffee.😬 After prepping, cooking, filming, editing, social media handles, cookbook and homeschool, I just want to hide in my closet and sleep. 😂 I will try to put something on the to do list to help you out. 😊

I tried this tonight. Things I wish I'd done: Freeze after shaping, use cold water and double fry. I think it would've been amazing. Still good, and the errors were from not paying attention. Thank you for sharing this recipe. I took a photo of them and they're pretty, but I can't post it on RUclips. :-(
Have you tried freezing these after cooking to see how well they reheat? I would love to make these in bulk and freeze so we could have a few nugget lunches on standby :)

For whatever reason, i really love the idea of putting the chicken in the food processor because then the spices are really going to get mixed in there well, as opposed to just seasoning the exterior of a piece, will definitely try this with my own choices of spice
Since the original McDonalds recipe for the nuggies and the sauce is based off of a chinese/japanese method, when frying for the second time increase the oil temp to 375. This way, excess oil is driven out of the par-cooked nuggies leaving them extra crispy and not soaked in oil. Dont be afraid to sub half of the salt with MSG.
Great idea especially now that I am a lot older and the last time I tried, McDonald’s chicken nuggets I always seem to get sick 🤢. Maybe because of the ingredients or something else I just don’t ever get them again so now I have a recipe I can follow. Thank you so much for sharing!❣️🙂

if u wanna do that you should do it after the 1st fry... and then whenever u want some just throw in the fryer again

You don't have to double fry, but if you want a McDonalds nugget, they're double fried, so do yourself the favor. Fry it twice.
