So that was bsb newspaper review 🤔 sounded like when the BBC programme 'That's Life 'read out viewers letters 😆
BSB Movie Channel presented movies in full digital stereo and excellent picture quality and they looked and sounded far better than Sky's PAL pictures and compressed analogue Wegener Panda 1 stereo sound.
The music used for the programme menu (or film menu) was used a year previous in 1989 on an RTE 1 closedown sequence in Ireland. It was on RUclips until recently, when the channel closed down.
That would have been the excellent KillianM2 channel.
@@stickytapenrust6869 That's the one. Such a shame his channel is now gone. Typical RUclips policies and copyright nonsense.
@@europa2000man Copyright is hardly nonsense. I don’t own any of the stuff on my channel, for instance, so if the copyright ID system tells me to cut something, I just do it.
So does anyone know what it was called?
Edit: Blazing Colours - Force and Flow - Dave Hewson
@@kargaroc386 thannks
The British Sky Broadcasting.
It's interesting how BSB signed a deal with Cannon Films to show their films, as like BSB, Cannon was suffering financially with a ton of debt
I wonder what came of the Test Card and all the other BSB Test Card's? I know some survived on Sky for a while longer.
Good Times.
Not for BSB. They were taken over by Sky exactly 3 months after this recording because they were haemorrhaging cash!
Fancy test card.
Callie Ray.
That test card is fancy indeed.
nice
Haha! I remember that pub sign in Stockport. It was a gay pub, previously called Byrons. Got shut down for holding live sex shows
How did Sky Run BSB did they just use their own satellites for a little while before they closed it down
Essentially, yes. Some channels were merged with other Sky Channels and then the rest was kept for a short time. After the merger of the channels, the Marco Polo satellite signals stopped for good.
What is the music in the programming line up
Blazing Colours by Dave Hewson.
@@cromulence hi thanks for the response but I had already found it a couple of months ago. Thanks
