NASA cameras show Dorian as it churns over northern Bahamas

- Cameras outside the International Space Station show Hurricane Dorian Sept. 1 from 260 miles up at 12:16 p.m. EST as it churns over the northern Bahamas. The storm has the strongest winds in recorded history for the northwestern Bahamas. A dangerous Category 5 hurricane, Dorian has sustained winds of 180 miles an hour. The National Hurricane Center said Dorian is inflicting catastrophic damage to the Abacos and Grand Bahama Islands. Dorian is forecast to approach the east coast of Florida before taking a possible track up the southeastern U.S. seaboard later this week.

The whole state of Florida would have been extremely devastated with such a wide storm. Things could have been a lot worse, at least with the curve there wont be any direct hits.

@Clockworks Gamer Sorry, not buying it. The winds circular speed IS the winds rotation. The direction it's moving is it's track. It's moving a few miles per hour east, but 155 mph in a circular motion, and you can verify this by watching the wind on the ground, thus you should see it from above.
