Wow...days of vinyl players with plate😂, Chief commander released some albums back to back then from late December 1987 to early 1988 honestly they were inspirational. Aimasiko, Immortality, Victory, Patience, Determination and Vanity. The composition, arrangement and story telling were top-notch.
This blockbuster album titled 'Victory' was released into the Nigerian music scene precisely in Dec 1988, and it coincided with another blockbuster from King Sunny Ade who released 'Merciful' same week, both albums were storm in the Yoruba circle, always on air in public places, joints, parties etc, I can never forget the moments at that time.
