I just bought one. I like! Just wish there were telescopic legs maybe for the stand to raise it up a bit. I’m 6’2” and bending over that low all day can become uncomfortable I mean we all know tile guys backs aren’t usually the best. The vacuum attachment would be awesome especially if it could be integrated into the system itself. For instance on board hose storage and a simple on/off switch. Just first thoughts. I may take all that back after some more experience with this guy. Anyway very well built and thought out! Highly recommended!

I have used the IQTS244 for over a year. I agree with Eric Starin the stand could be a little taller. I will just make use out of a skid and a bit of plywood screwed together for now to give it a lift. One thing I would like to see is a continnuos blade for cutting soft materials like marble and glass. The combination blade leaves a chip on the end of the cut. Even better make an adaptor for a solid arbor so I can use a store bought blade. Otherwise the saw is awesome! Most bathrooms I do are on the second floor that have form 10 to 13 steps to go up and down all day. Not any more.

Bought the saw and all the accessories. Works awesome! I'm just concerned about scoring up the soft top of the extension table. Ran some porcelain tile for rip cuts and noticed the rough bottom of the tile is scratching the heck out of the top. I ran some other pieces finished side down because I was concerned too much table top scoring would ruin the smooth feeding of material. What can be done about the table scratching?

Hey Phil I thought since they didn't answer your question that maybe I would be better off asking you lol! Can this saw do plunge cuts? And are the cuts truly as clean as a wet saw?

@@jeffirvin6364 Hey Jeff. Yes, it certainly can do plunge cuts. Just finished doing floor to ceiling walk in shower for my mother in law using 12x36 porcelain glass tile. Had to make some monster plunge cuts around the window and around shower niche. Also had to cut out a rectangular area for the control valve I bought from England ... about 2.5 inches by 8.5 inches in the middle of a tile. Its tricky, but doable. If I knew how to upload images, I'd show you. Was dealing with local Ardex rep and showed him the cuts. He was blown away. Also, the table saw feature is awesome. On those U shaped cutouts around the window, the lower leg was a little over .5 inches wide by 18 inches long and the upper leg was .75 inches by 18 long. After dry fitting, had to shave about a 32nd of an inch off the lower leg. No problem using the table top. Try that on a wet saw. Might be able to do it on a rail saw, but not your standard wet saw. As far as cut quality, it did chip a lot because it was glass tile. No matter how slow I went, it still chipped. However, using a 100 grit diamond block on the edge helped a lot. I ran a number of cuts on some other pure porcelain tile (not glass glazed) and the edges were perfect. Good as my MK Diamond 101 cuts for sure. So if you're not cutting glass, I'd recommend it. Clean up was a dream, though there is more dust when you use the table top feature if you are trimming just one edge. Still, setup and clean up was a dream.

Hey Phil thanks for your in depth answers. That really is helpful. I do tile work for a living and ive been trying to decide between the new DeWalt 3600 and the IQ. I feel like I am leaning towards the IQ. Just wanting to make sure it can do everything I need it to especially for what it costs. Yah it's a shame customer service ain't what it used to be but at least us tile guys can still look out for each other lol! Thanks again Phil!

That’s now how you would miter a piece of tile ever. It would be cut upside down just below the glaze.
