I have had and or heard most of these comments from people who know that I am disabled. I used to hate it. Now that I am older I just ignore them or I tell them. I have everything under control :)
and that's how it should be! Unfortunately, not everyone is so strong and these ableist comments affect some people a lot so it's good to educate others even when you can just ignore them because not everyone can
I have really mild arthrogryposis which only affects my fingers and feet, so I really can't speak about much. But, I have heard some of these and do get kinda ticked off.
