Great video. I've used the lens & warped pen for a pyro/psychokinesis stunt using the observer effect in physics as patter. The Lubor lens is fun to play with.

Plus a thought. For a worker, buying 500 or 1000 pens with your contact info on it is fairly inexpensive. Use those for this bit and you’ve got a nice giveaway that also serves as a marketing tool. Just a thought anyway.

You can make one as shown in the video, but if you want one without the burn marks you'll need to buy one. Hope this helps. I have both.
