Beautiful! Thank you for the directions on the knot, I have tried forever to learn to do one from books, bought jewelry DVDs, which none have had the knot. You are such a wealth of knowledge & good teacher, you inspire & empower creativity. Thank you sincerely.

    👋 new sub here.
I'm a stained glass Artisan and I do repurpose leftover glass into necklaces.
I also collect at the beaches when I find.
When I sell at an event, my sign says both sea glass AND non sea glass.
I let the buyer choose what they like best.

There are many sellers calling their glass "sea glass" when it is tumbled glass made to look like sea glass. What you find in dollar stores is not sea glass. Some people don't mind using tumbled glass but it should be called what it is. Sea glass is not a manufactured bead or glass shards tumbled in a tumbler. Sea glass comes from the sea.

As a collecter of sea glass (300 lbs over 10 years) i think that fake stuff is obvious. Genuine looks better

@@jodicool9787 Love Linds, but I agree. It should say Faux sea glass, but at least she makes it clear and is teaching not selling but real sg is great. And getting more valuable and harder to find as we have become more reliant on plastic and the supply is gone!

Beautiful, Lindsay. I don't live too far from the sea but my sister, who lives on the other side of the county (about 12 miles from me) is right on the coast. It looks like I'm going to have to go over and do some beach combing with her and if I can't find any good glass nearly every other shop in the town is a gift shop so I'll be able to find a bag easily :). xx

That adjustable knot would have been very helpful when I made some kids' bracelets for passing out at Halloween a couple years ago. I'll have to practice that, thank you for showing that. I may even replace the neck piece that holds a Terra cotta essential oil diffuser, now that I've seen how to do that!

interesting wrap but craft store "sea glass" IS NOT sea glass. sea glass can only be made by the action of water on a beach. usually somewhere on an ocean shore or a great lake. craft glass is just that.

Thanks for sharing how to make that adjustable knot. I've been wanting to make some bracelets with that and didn't know how. I have some very pretty polished stones my sister gave me and I was wondering if I could wrap them with a loop at each end and string them for a necklace? Would they hold together do you think? They are about the same size as your beach glass but perhaps a little thicker.

Lindsey love the wrapped sea glass. I was wondering where you get the glass, I looked on line but they have so many to choose from, such as bags full. Is that what I want or do you, or can you, buy just individual pieces??? Where do you purchase yours??? I want to try doing this and making a necklace with that as the center and use handmade paper beads up both sides....Love your videos.....
