I like the fact that Ra is a going 2nd deck. It is in line with marik character (arrogant/smug) of letting his opponent going first just so he can otk and cooked them to the shadowrealm
that raidraptor duel was such a misplay that even EDP445 could see the bait from a mile away. You didn't even blaze cannon the moment he activated the continuous trap, AND you knew you didn't have mountain of the bound gods in your field spell zone. e.e. good rule of thumb: if someone has SET 5 and a board: PLAY IT SAFE! you know they can't do a thing on the crack back cause of blaze cannon and the continuous spell.
He should have known better. He's against Phantom Knights/Raidraptor. If opponent sets 5, you assume there has to be at least 2 Fog Blade there. My guess is, he got tunnel vision because he had Ancient Chant/Soul Crossing combo in hand. When he activated True Sun God, he should have fetched Sphere Mode. If opponent didn't have toggle ON they are basically screwed. Sphere Mode opponent's monsters and set Soul Crossing for his opponents turn to play it safe.
Yup. Zeus's text says this: "Once per turn, if an Xyz Monster battled this turn, you can also Xyz Summon "Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder" by using 1 Xyz Monster you control as material."
I promised myself I would never use the god cards in this game but common meta has taken over so I decided to go for creating Horus, Egyptian gods, and numeron decks.
@@YoGibran no that’s not what I meant. I just never intended to use them when the support cards were added like the trap for slifer. The spell for obelisk, and cards to help summon RA. I know every card that looks powerful has a weakness but I’ve seen how the gods were often used ever since the support cards were added. I’ve seen that they are easier to summon now that the horus cards were added. Cards like Snake eyes I don’t want them though.
@@oaiw427 I don’t know if you are talking to me but instead of the god cards i prefer sticking with other common archetypes that may be old but can still kick ass with some staples when facing meta.
@kingrichard4035 bcz your oppenent could just set some cards and pass without special summoning which will hurt you a lot if you don't have a good opening hand and want to rely on maxx c to draw some good cards, this is why a lot of players (including me) prefer to use just before the opponent special summons a monster so you know at least you're going to draw 1 card instead of going -1
This deck loses to magic cylinder by the way 🤣. Faced a Ra player one time and they destroyed everything but my magic cylinder and they were about to otk me then hit em with the reversal and gg
