yes. you have to use the differential locker pins supplied in the kit. go back and look at the manual again. in the axle section. there is a small pin that is inserted into the axle to lock it in 4wd.
that was great tybo! what a sweet looking rig. you have the greatest local, the water fall part is my fave part to. looked awesome!! so did the scale rivers!! good to bust out the oldies eh? nice job on the vid bro!
The tamiya can stock motor. I think brushless would be ok for wheel speed, like to get out of a mud hole. As for speed...i like mine just fine. Thanks for the comment. =]
haha. yeah so lucky to have this location to play in. i love the waterfall. i try to film as close to it as possible. lol. please keep watching my videos bro. thanks again. tybo =]
Great video and your truck looks awesome, just ordered mine today.... can't wait...!! Missed the fun of building the trucks, as all the new ones seem to be RTR. To me 75% of the fun is building and modifying.
Thanks Matteo. Well when i watched you new video...i knew you had mods to the tundra chassis. clues...brush guard and steps sides. i also knew right away that was not easy cause i knew the tundra is longer than the F350 and Hilux. Did you sell the Tundra body? either way that f350 is killer and your videos just keep getting better. thanks for watching. tybo =]
agreed dude. i have changed it back cause i miss how it just looked like a 1:1 Tundra. i'll answer your question with a question.... can you pick a favorite child? lol. thanks for watching dude. please keep watching my videos. tybo =]
thanks dude. good luck with the tundra. i know....i think you put it away right after you broke the leaf. i run my highlift hard cause i hate the internet heros talking junk about how im afraid of driving my highlift. i call BS...just look a what my tundra can do. thats how i shut them up.
i use it for speed. shift on the fly three speed is a gimick but nice one. tamiya did a good job on the kit. very fun to put together. has it flaws but a very nice model non the less. =]
i don't think tamiya intended this rig to run the way i run it. seriously. its a great model of the Tundra. thats why it won't/can't flex. most real trucks don't have awesome travel in the suspention.
oh man good question dude. i like them both for different reasons. the scx10 is a great chassis but i always mod it tons to get it the way i want it. My Tundra is a great representation of the real truck...that being said...you can't take a real tundra and do this kind of stuff. i've only heard good things about the TF2. i would like to find out for myself one day. =]
nicely built tundra! and you're so lucky that you have such a beautiful place to drive it. does it take a lot of maintenance after such an outing? i used to drive my off road rc's through puddles but the bearings would invariably rust out.
I still love the high lifts. I think they look good but i think the tf2 is the new hi lift. Dont own ether just saying lol my scx10 needs a servo befor i can go trailing and i tryd my wheely king servo. Lasted 6 mins befor it stripped its gears
Lol I think a lot of us push the limits of our rc trucks, I really like how scale yours is. The paint is killer and all the accessories set it off. I didnt realize it was a 3 speed. Do you use the 3 speeds that much?
not all. look for the ones that say RTR or XB (expert built) these highlifts biggest faults..to me anyways...is that the gearbox is way to low. to be honest...i don't think Tamiya meant for them to be run as hard as I do. =]

thanks dude. i'm really digging the leafs now. i have a trail stomper jeep with leafs and i love them too. thanks for watching fullthrottle.

i do too 4mods. something calming about it. that was a geat shot too. thanks for commenting dude. =]
yup. i'm really starting to like the way leafs look versus 4 links. much more scale looking but can't keep up with them 4 links.
thank you kindly dude. glad you enjoyed it. i missed how my tundra looked soo, i spent a lot of time changing it back. =]
thank you very much swas79. have you been busy? we haven't seen any runs lately. =]
thanks dude. good luck with the tundra. i know....i think you put it away right after you broke the leaf. i run my highlift hard cause i hate the internet heros talking junk about how im afraid of driving my highlift. i call BS...just look a what my tundra can do. thats how i shut them up.

thanks rob. glad you liked it dude. =]
Liked.. It looks just great and great location ;-)
i don't think tamiya intended this rig to run the way i run it. seriously. its a great model of the Tundra. thats why it won't/can't flex. most real trucks don't have awesome travel in the suspention.
yeah. i modded this rig till it looked like a monster. then i changed it back. lol. thanks for watching.
thanks tobber. glad you liked it. =]
agreed. i think everybody and their brother has a TF2. i really wanted one but i still love my Highlifts. =]
thanks rolexr. i love this place. lucky to have it for all my scaling videos. =]
Excellent run Tybo...rig still looks amazing:)
yes but i think the spings will be preloaded unless you put taller shock towers.
nice place cool
@atltybo Yea, for Shure, scale looks, 100% but the performance isn't so hot. I love the leaf spings tho. Great work tybo.
hey thanks dude. congrats man. yeah. these kits are just awesome fun. agreed 100%. building them is just as much fun as driving them. =]
Awsome video tybo!!!
oh man good question dude. i like them both for different reasons. the scx10 is a great chassis but i always mod it tons to get it the way i want it. nice vids tybo..i just got my tundra assemble on last month and it is great.
wee han lee ...thanks my friend. yes, it's a great model for sure. =]
i run a attack 4wd 4channel to use the three speed. i also run a futaba 3pl if i only want to run 2 speed.
ahh. thanks dude. the skid plate is in the same place. =] i didn't do anything to it.
You could take out leaf springs but its not an scx10 so the stiffness make it feel more real if the real truck is leaf sprung
Thanks for not having music nice video
ahh. thanks for watching. =]
tybo,, Im watching this video almost 1 time per day... you gotta thanked me everyday LOL.!!...
Nice video!!!
thanks JRC. =]
haha. i have had my jetboat here too. thanks for watching dude. =]
ahh. thanks for watching! =]
nicely built tundra! and you're so lucky that you have such a beautiful place to drive it. does it take a lot of maintenance after such an outing? i used to drive my off road rc's through puddles but the bearings would invariably rust out.
ahh. thanks dude. i know right. i spend a lot of time on maintenance cause of the water. =]
lol..been workin on a scatch styrene body build for the stomper:)
I still love the high lifts. I think they look good but i think the tf2 is the new hi lift. Dont own ether just saying lol my scx10 needs a servo befor i can go trailing and i tryd my wheely king servo. Lasted 6 mins befor it stripped its gears

Great video tybo, i plan to take my tundra out today for the first time in 8 months :) arent those the stocck tires ive never tried them they any good
I really like the paint color did you customize it
nice rig and run what you power that beast with... i was curious if they would handle
a brushless or should i stay brushed..
swee vid bro... did you higher ur transmission a few mm cuz your skid plate
looks a lil higher than mine if ya did plz let me know how
not all. look for the ones that say RTR or XB (expert built) these highlifts biggest faults..to me anyways...is that the gearbox is way to low. to be honest...i don't think Tamiya meant for them to be run as hard as I do. =]
Niceee vids
Thank you Rama. 👍😀👍
they do. terrible design flaw for rock crawling but to be honest i don't think tamiya meant for it to keep up with all of these new crawlers.
i just might do something like that dude. =]
thats the 4-door silver jeep in your new video right?
hmm interesting how many leafs you running

Tybo what do you like better your scx10 or tamyia tundra just wondering.
