Anyone remember the Turnstyles crew from Canada biting that shit from 3:46, at the '98 ITF Western Hemisphere and World Finals? I remember people going crazy, saying they'd come up with some new shit, but yet again it was the X-men who did it first. Raida was the main one for coming up with new things, that other DJs seemed to get credit for, e.g. juggling 2 different records rather than 2 copies of the same record; juggling with the up-faders ; pushing a record fowards during a juggle; and spinning the torque really fast during a juggle.
Didn't Q-Bert do a showcase at this battle as well? It wan't on the tape though. Check out the channel of a guy on here called Michael Shum. He has footage of all of the DJs, including Q, having a scratch session in a hotel room, after the battle.
