Sweet.! I've been waiting for someone to do one of these because I've had my eye on one for ages. I'm not confident enough to strip down one of my crawlers & build one of these. THANK YOU.! Liked & best wishes from Scotland 🏴 🙏 ❤️ 📻 🕹️ 🔋 🏎️ 🚓 🚔 🚖 🚗 🚙.
im running my modded ryft spring-less with 20w oil: extended front links, same kind of wheel setup and esc motor combo (crawler/slate). and it slowly falls into a fully compressed stance but i want to get some high clearance links for the front! but im going for a full vitavon parts list 😎👍 "finders crossed"!! much love, best of luck
Yes it does, Scott got a little more I think 9 inches but he's running wider axles and wheel spacers so that don't count lol I need to check the bottom of the tire to the ground for a more accurate measurement
Letr droop bud, ive always found that the lower CG is worth that little loss of clearance. I appreciate the minimalist cage, the overbuilt buggy chassis drive me crazy. Looking good so far my man. Oh, you can set up your rear suspension to unload just pre rollback making it almost impossible to roll over backwards on a climb even with no overdrive up front.
If you want true flex measure to the bottom of the tyre, works out at around 6"..and also, why replace the small metal plate with an different plate..a lot of work to gain nothing !!!
well, 3 things to look at, 1st is the (T) rating on a brushed motor, 12T, 27T etc, generally the higher turn rating (T) the faster it is., 2nd is KV, KV is basically the same as RPM, so higher RPM higher speed, 3rd is battery, 3s is going to provide more power and punch than 2s. mHope that helps
i have started building allmoust the samme but with the hobie wing moter esc combo
Awesome, I'm having a lot of fun with mine so far

I had fun with the build, nothing complex, we'll see how it crawls this weekend 😁
Thanks for the sharing.
Those tire do really well on the rocks
I hope so, we'll know this weekend 😁
PERFECT...perfect set up. It looks like it would never fall over. Great Crawler!!!
It was a little top heavy with the metal cage but I just did custom aluminum axles which should help. Thanks for the support
Nice build! Thanks for sharing
Thanks
Can't go wrong with revo rod ends as well rpm had good ones and I believe they sell an angle version as well.
Thanks, I'll take a look

Awesome, I'll prob be doing some testing and tuning this weekend 😆first run
looks awesome budd I like the shocks flex for days lol

@Lees RCs yeah I just watch his video to lol guess I have to find that cage chassis I put away lol
Man buddy can’t wait to see how yours and mine works with two different ways the build is going
Me too, I see lots of tuning options
@@leesrcs most definitely can’t wait
You guys are making me want to start another build.
@@DreamBigBuildSmall go for it, building is half the fun
@@DreamBigBuildSmall it’s cool buddy I building one out of a wraith
Badass! I have one of those actually
Thanks, I'm learning a lot and having fun with it
Use a shorty lipo...I cut that same crossbrase off the full size lipo adds way to much top weight
Yep, I went with a 2s shorty, If you watch the most recent test run video. It worked great and left room for esc/receiver box
Those are redcat gen7 wheels/tires....I did this same exact build to a gutted everest 10...was still way to heavy with that body
I actually just took the aluminum bead locks and brass off the Remo and it helped a lot
I saw a video where someone put the servo on top of the plate you were talking about cutting it off , FYI
Yes, that's the intended mount but I went with axle mount and it worked great.

Thanks, it's doing great for its first few runs, played with different springs a little today
The wheels are from redcat they have came off a Gen7
Really Cool build , this video is very helpful , gonna be a awesome Rig !
Thanks
When you build a Amazon rock crawler what did you use for a transmission in order to drive shafts straight
All parts I used should be in the description of each video. It is all SCX10II based parts from Amazon
cool build so far
Thanks, I hope it all works together lol
@@leesrcs 😁👍
nice job bro!! keep it more!
Thanks
Just a quick question with those shocks will the soften the fall if your rig where to cage air or will those bottom out as if you had no shocks at all
those shocks are internal spring style, they come with several different springs from soft to firm.
If you want true flex measure to the bottom of the tyre, works out at around 6"..and also, why replace the small metal plate with an different plate..a lot of work to gain nothing !!!
yes very true, was one of my first builds, a lot learned since then.
Nice 👍🏾
Thanks
I’m trying to find a motor that will give me speed to launch but not as slow as a crawler do you know what my options are I’m confused

Oh ok that’s simple I’ll notify you of what type of motor I go with and make a video on my build thanks again
👍🏽
Excited to see how it crawls 😁
😃🤩💥💯👍👏👏👏
That's a rock bouncer chassis not a crawler chassis
It's whatever I make it
