Sitka is my favorite port in Alaska. I have sailed HAL many, many times. I have never had a bad meal over the past 20 years I have sailed with them. The crew is outstanding, always on point. In fact, I met my husband through his nephew, that worked at Pinnacle Grill. The crew works so hard, and, I always appreciate their fine service. So far, I have not sailed any other lines that were as kind and the food at this level on consistency. IF there is a problem with cold food, etc, tell the wait staff and they are MORE than happy to help you. Possibly Scottie should avoid HAL as he just does not seem happy.

How’s the food compared to princess? We’ve never traveled holland America before. We’ve traveled several times on princess, but our last cruise in November wasn’t up to our past experiences. Next cruise is on royal Caribbean then celebrity. Trying out new lines.
We Think The Buffet Is Much Better Than On Princess. Crown Grill Vs Pinnacle Grill Is A Toss Up They Are both Great Pinnacle Grill Has More Variety. We Have Only Eaten In The MDR On HAL Twice and can’t Really Say The Food Is Better Than On Princess. Nami Sushi And Tamarind Are Much Better Than Anything Princess Offers. We Definitely Want To Book Another Cruise With HAL. They Do So Many Things Better Than Princess In Our Opinion. We Still Love Princess Though. If You Like Smaller Quieter Cruise Ships HAL Might Be Right For You. Thank You For Watching And Commenting
I find that even on Princess ships, the dining rooms are on the cool side. I guess that with the amount of people that can be in the one room at one time, the room temperature rises just from body heat alone, so the air conditioner is usually cranked up a little. We Jumped On The Royal Princess Right After This Cruise Which Reinforced Our Opinion That We Really Liked Our Experience On The Eurodam. Thank You For Watching And Commenting
Prime rib should be rare served with horse radish & au jus, not gravy or sauce. I think the sour cream was supposed to be for your baked potato along with the bacon bits.

We Were Somewhat Skeptical Coming Onboard The Eurodam Being Used To How Princess Does Everything. Well We Were Pleasantly Surprised And Really Enjoyed Our 7 Day Cruise Onboard The Eurodam. We Have A 35 Day South Pacific Cruise Booked With HAL In 2025 And Are Looking Forward To Another Cruise Experience With Holland America. Thank You For Watching
