Ok 10 hours into realflight iv decided i want to concentrate on heli's, 3 lessons into this playlist iv got hours upon hours of work cut out simply on hovers, box hovers and turning - what have i got myself into lol. Thanks for the guides, subscribed
That is a true statement. My thumbs don’t shake and my knees don’t knock flying the sim. When I’m actually flying my subconscious financial advisor is always in the background whispering $1000, $1000 This causes me to fly slow and not try out the stuff I’ve been working on all week on the sim. 😊
Very good explanations and instructions! I played the video at half speed a couple of times so I could follow it better. I've just got myself a K110s after flying an Eachine 129 for a while. The 129 is good for getting the hang of the different orientations but it's very basic. I feel I'm ready to move on to collective pitch. The K110s is amazing! I had to tame it down quite a bit, straight out of the box it was absolutely wild! Fortunately, the transmitter that came with it is fully programmable so now it's nice and docile. (I watched a video on how to adjust the settings, the manual is not very helpful) I'm very grateful to people like yourself making these videos, it would have taken me so much longer without.
Hi, I've just got an xk110 as my first CP Heli, having learnt orientations on an E119. Would you be able to share your tx setup / settings used to tame this little guy down a bit? Make it a bit more docile? Thanks
@@frankymal8640 You can adjust the throttle curve on the transmitter. Mine is set to 75% max. The pitch curve can also be set lower. You have to experiment with it. I haven't flown it 3D yet, I'm still flying with stabilisation on. I think I'll get a simulator to learn aerobatics, I don't want to break my heli.
Thank you so much for your video. I definitely subscribed and I like your videos and I’m gonna share it with a lot of other people. I love your channel. Since I’ve subscribed I’ve learned and improved my helicopter abilities. Before I seen your video my helicopter abilities really sucked. I’ve been flying helicopters for four years and I did nothing but crash. Watching your videos I have improved almost tenfold and that says a lot I’ve watched all the videos from professionals and they don’t teach like you. Keep up the good work mate.
Do you mean hold it forward?! You shouldn't have to certainly with a flybarless. It should be a case of moving it forward then back to centre. I go over this more in part 1. Cheers
Thank you my friend and I will wait to hear back from you before I buy this one while I wait for my 330s to come back from HH. I just want to know should I get the RTF and see how its set from them or buy the BNF and set it up with my NX8? Thank you.
So, one could use mixing to increase pitch/° of bank angle, which would eliminate the need to compensate. It would be difficult to get right, but could be done.🤔
Very good video, thank you. I didn't fully understand the math but the theory still makes sense. Especially having to increase collective when banking more steeply. Very helpful video. I just purchased Real Flight. What simulator do you use?
Nice one cheers. I have AccuRc. Only £40 and its very customisable so you can learn how different variables affect the heli in the workshop. You can adjust FBL settings etc
Nice banked and coordinated turns are not easy. Don’t beat yourself up because it takes lots of practice, at least it did for me. The tapping is something that really helps limit over controlling the bank. Like any other type of maneuver, at some point it will click and you wonder why did I have such a problem. The you start hurricanes and it starts all over again. 😂
hello sir..im using xk k100 to learn..but it so hard to control them without auto level..im beginner for heli rc.but drone is much easier..r some big heli is much easier to learn with?
Hi john, yes bigger helis are generally more stable so a bit easier. Also more dangerous too possibly so he carefully. Don't worry it's not just you. Keep practising safely and you'll get there. Get a sim if you haven't got one. Cheers
By far, the best video on this topic.
Excellent guide for new pilots, thank you Sir!
Glad it was helpful!

My pleasure. Enjoy the process.
Thanks to this video my turning has improved! Very detailed explanation, super helpful. Thank u very much
Glad it helped!
I can do things on my sim I cannot do in real life. I think it's pure field flying from here out now 😅

Cheers man. Yeah. I did an unboxing video of xk110s and want to get a flying video out of out soon. Nice Tough little Heli

I like the way you explain every single small detail Great tips and advises what things to avoid! Very good work!!
Glad it was helpful!
Brilliant - Educational and funny - I loved all the inserted clips - "Order!"
Haha great. Thanks for the comment glad you liked it. Cheers
Best explanation I have seen. Thx.
Thanks

Hi PJ, thanks very much for the comment and for sharing. Glad to see it's helping. There'll be more videos on all sorts eventually. Happy flying.
HOLY CRAP-- that's FAST!!!! THanks -- I'm thinking of getting an AIRWOLF--s tarting small and cheap and working up as I get better!!!
It is necessary to always tap the elevator up to make the heli fly forward?

Hi thanks i replied to your other comment about this cheers.
Excellent guide for first time heli pilots, enjoying your videos'👍👍✔⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🎬🎥
Cheers man share them far and wide 😆. Thanks for the comment more to come when I'm not so busy at work.
Excellent tutorial, thank you!
Thanks long!

I'm sure you could. I guess it might take some of the fun out of it though? As we want the challenge of flying?
Hi what flight simulator are u using?
AccuRC
Thanks for asking this question.

You’re doing a brilliant job mate. Keep it up 👍 thanks
Thanks very much Nisar! 👍
Thank you, I'm a beginner of rc heli, it make me easy to understand as I'm an engineer. Lol

Cheers. It's accurc.
Thank you. Taaaaaaaap iiiiiit iiiin.

the xk110 is the perfect begginer heli
@@cruxio02 I've not tried it. What makes you say it's the best beginner heli?
@@RCStuffvideos it can take a beating , parts are cheap and its very easy to repair .
@@cruxio02 cool cheers might get one.and do a review sometime

Flight simulators' are one thing but the real world is another. Been there done that.
Thinking about all these maths during flying the heli will definitely going to crash it .....
Haha. Well you don't have to think about it while flying. Just to give you a good understanding beforehand. 🚁
I'm sorry but if this is for beginners you lost me in the beginning when talking about all those geometry and trigonometry and no funonometry.
Hahah that's not essential just a bit of extra info if anyone's interested
