@J G that’s nice, but if I wanted to watch terrible acting I’ll watch soap operas 🥴 in fact I’d probably rather watch soap operas. I’d definitely rather watch a minority sport where lots of things happen than a “sport” where people kick a ball around to not score many goals but fall over all the time 🤮 so please leave your copy/paste comment on clips of your most important sport. Just thought I'd share my experience with LBW Eyewear.
In need of new reading glasses, I decided I wanted a round, full rim pair (i.e. Lennon glasses). I browsed all the major online budget retailers (Zenni, Goggles4U, 39DollarGlasses etc.), found nice pairs at both Zenni and LBW Eyewear.
Unfortunately, the Zenni pair was too big for my face, so I went with a silver pair from LBW. They costed US$24.90 + 11.95 P&H. I ordered online on the 12th of May, received them today in the post (27th of May).
I must confess that I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the frames; the lenses came with free scratch protection and UV coating, and I opted for AR coating for an extra 4.95.
Their customer service was good. I had to exchange multiple emails and make one phone call to their office in San Francisco, CA because my online CC payment was processed four times. Their responses by email were prompt, but the grammar / quality of English was not particularly great (I think it's a Chinese family business). When I called them, I didn't have to wait - they brought up my order and released the extra pending charges on my CC within a few days.
The only disappointment, if any, was the shipping they opted for. They use USPS First Class mail for international delivery that only costs ~US$3.00 - while I was charged 11.95 - and does not offer tracking; it was left in my post box by Australia Post.
Overall though, I'm pretty happy - would definitely buy from LBW again.
