I’m no expert but I don’t think breaking your jaw in 2014 means 8 years later your cheeks, lips, jaw and chin all grow permanently in size. They also match the look of other celebrities who got cosmetic surgery. Zac looks like a 60 year old who’s trying to look 25.
Actually they can get enlarged if the surgery didn't work properly and the bite wasn't proper. Then the jaw muscle can grow. But I don't know if all the changes on his face can be from that one surgery or not. I think it was probably a combination of both plastic surgery and the problems of the past jaw surgery

Had injuries. Sometimes your face can get puffy especially body building if something is out of alignment. The chin prominence makes me highly doubt that is the only reason though.

His his chin prominence hasn't really change, his chaw got bigger which is extremely common in bodybuilding as well as with consitions like TMJ. His thicker jaw makes his chin look a little different but if you look q side by side pics it's quite clear to me that his chin is the same.

It's as though Efron became infatuated with some idea of Hasselhoff being the ideal of masculinity or something and needed to emulate it physically so he had massive facial reconstruction by adding implants to attain what he thought was a better looking excessively thicker jaw, which created the Hasselhoff type, box or square head. Again, it is Efron's life and money and he is free to make himself look like whomever he wants. That is the freedom that wealth brings. For better or for worse. I feel bad that rich famous people have to lie about their plastic surgeries. If he'd actually ripped his lower jaw off by slipping and falling on socks into a water fountain it would have been spread across the world on news and media. Rich famous people can not have something like that happen without it getting out. It never happened. And that is ok.
