Your previous video exposed how a server owner gave creative mode to one of his admins and was making money via a backdoor. Money is the key word here. If money is king, rules mean nothing.
I’m shocked that this is the first time I’ve seen a RUclipsr do something like this. It’s the perfect way to show how poorly designed any system can be
I recall an individual making a fake speedrun for a game (including a TAS watermark, lol) and sent it off. When they made a video saying "hey they don't check for cheaters!" they were banned.
When the whole gun mod ban situation was going down, CallMeCarson did a stream called EULA smp, and you can probably guess what it was about lol. One of his funniest videos to date, it's called "a minecraft server with guns"
Really is, I am a stickler for rules and it hurts when people don’t follow rules and they’re never checked on by the authority. I’ve been dealing with websites that break cookie, privacy, and GDPR rules and the ICO (who in the UK is meant to be enforcing rules) does nothing even after I hand it to them with documentation Feels like the only way to get the ICO to do something is to name and shame websites that break laws and then point at the ICO and say that they haven’t been enforcing laws, laws that are meant to protect users Yeah some of the violations are minor like if you reject all cookies and are logged out the theme switcher shouldn’t work, but good luck finding a website where they will let the theme switcher break if someone rejects functional cookies. Also, you are not allowed to disable theme switching if themes are broken due to not having permission, and you can’t shame a user into enabling cookies; so, if you only have a theme switcher on the header you have to just be ok with a broken theme switcher (full refresh and it’ll revert) you need to have a settings page (where none of the settings will work because no functional cookies) where you can then explain why it’s broken but you can’t disable the theme selection so someone who doesn’t read the notice will be left confused (you can’t assume a user will read). It’s still a violation by the law, nobody is in any doubt that the ICO really would never care, so they should just give a list of cookies that are functional and not required and yet don’t have privacy concerns If you follow the rules your website will be at a disadvantage, and we aren’t objecting the idea that everyone must follow the rules, but that if the ICO has no intentions to enforce them then there should be some alterations that don’t affect privacy while keeping the things that do matter
As a very vocal player that has been personally affected by an ex-wife’s gambling addiction, thank you for sharing this info. I’ve reported dozens of servers and been banned from many of them and Mojang is yet to reply to ONE of my complaints. :/
@kitukitukitu-lous Doubtful. Acknowledgement at all would prevent them from claiming a supposedly flawed AI missed it, thus costing them revenue. M$ want this just how it is. It's why they bought the studio to begin with.
My discord account got false banned nearly a year ago, and can confirm that their support is entirely AI chatbots now. They just loop you infinitely to different web pages instead of actually being helpful.
Cannot wait to see DuperTrooper drop "I DESTROYED TheMisterEpic's HARDCORE GAMBLING Minecraft Server" in my sub feed tomorrow. Probably with you in there as one of the dupers.
"One of my mods reported me and I was forced to ban my account. However, I failed to find my other dup accounts. This is why I hid my shulker boxes in places I'd never find." It has April Fools all over it.
Microsoft*, these are Microsoft's guidelines, under Microsoft rule, handled all by Microsoft. Trust me, Mojang being european this wouldn't fly if they were still indie.
Anti-hero, my friend. _Anti-hero!_ Mr. Epic's doing the evil acts that we good folk are "too good" to do, to save us all. It's a "one to save millions" sort of thing.
Cosmic sky selling 240,000 coins for $110 then having the "cosmic crate" be 250,000 coins is an abusive scam. I didn't know preston and woofless were poor like that. Scummy asf
"Hey everyone, this is ManlyBadassHero and we're playing Slot Apocalypse, a horror game where you have to use slot machines to get enough money to buy good from vending machines in a post-apocalypse city."
@Quenlin or alternativly: "Hey there it's josh, welcome back to let's game it out. We're inside a Casino today as the last survivor of the apocalypse..."
Reminds me of RUclips making you use the cleanest language possible so its suitable for the advertisers that show inappropriate ads. So want naughty stuff uploaded just turn it to a ad😂
21:26 at least we can determine Mojang/Microsoft isn't/aren't being paid by the gambling servers to keep them up. They just don't care about their own rules...
Honestly, I'ld rather that than they actually enforce their rules, some of which violate free-speach and expression principles, which goes against the spirit of a sandbox building game.
@stylinsandwichbanning people from singleplayer is beyond disgusting. Not even the hackers and griefers should suffer that. It's almost as if they hate their own communi- oh, wait...
I remember someone in another random youtube post was talking crap about TheMisterEpic by saying that he had added the very things he criticized and how big of a hypocrite he was. Other people were agreeing and now seeing this makes me laugh at the fact that they were 100% talking about this but leaving out context.
Okay, but my main question is if the players that played this experiment actually had to pay real-life money to get the money to gamble for this video to be made and, in that case, if there were any reimbursements for the people that paid money in this experiment.
@semolina_o_o Buddy, he's been gambling on this server every day since it's been released. It's all he does and he still isn't addicted so I doubt it's happening.
Wait isn't it actually worse if the gambling system doesn't look like traditional gambling? Because it might trick someone into thinking it's not gambling.
@cyberwarlord7363 Not in America. It's mostly just prison time. Also, Trump just captured the dictator of Venezuela, so the part about the Government isn't true.
I'm still surprised servers like these are still around, it really sucks kids play on them and end up wasting lots of money on it and mojang doesn't do anything about it
theres something to be said here about self control; however true discipline and useful self control is very difficult to obtain, and most of us (including me) simply do not have such (also also. anyone with adhd is by default going to have an even harder time with such.)
@curatedmemes9406 well currently, most kids arent learning such, and becoming adults without selfcontrol... which uh will become problematic at some ooint
@link_team3855 like yeah sure self control but children don’t have that and it literallly changes how their brain develops so NO it’s not a self discipline issue. I also have adhd and I am able to discipline myself from things like this and it is hard. So these servers target children and the disabled/vulnerable.
6:35 It *doesn't* actually say anything about the item needing to tell you faithfully what it is. just that the items need to be listed, so technically even a list of names and odds would be compliant
I can only assume this is due to the fact that they likely only act upon reports that come in in high volume, and a single report will likely not do it. You probably need at least like 20-50 reports sent in consistent succession or so for Mojang to even notice, much less take action.
What this video displayed is exactly why I'm hoping we soon learn more and see success from Kian Brose's Lawsuit against Mojang, because not only are they not upholding their own Terms of Service, if anything, they have actively violated their own agreements with consumers, and it's against consumer law to refuse access to the service under new terms when they previously agreed to old ones, especially when it was a service you paid for.
Fun fact! After the first day, and the spawn being lavacast, we set up a small base, and grabbed a villager... From beyond the world border. Also, I learned how to bypass most "downsides" for the GOD items. Teehee.
@empoleonmaster6709 The bypasses? He briefly touched on attribute swapping, but you could use the helmet in conjunction with elytra to bypass needing rockets, jump to bypass the leggings movement modifier, stuff like that. The boots just made you instantly die to fall damage. You could also off-hand bow to bypass the scale modifier. Anyways, I'm kinda sad he didn't show the aftermath, or how I murdered scores of people using the above bypasses. But I'm used to not being noticed. Losing to a *blaze statue* in a *farm competition* because it "looked better" type crap. Or the fact he's still working on the RPG bug video that probably is in the works. That'll be a fun one, I suppose. We never did set up that villager trading hall before it went dark- we being Lxry/awawa, r0b3rt0s, and some other people. And myself, of course. Have a good day.
Bro literally plastering CASINO and KEEP GAMBLING everywhere while running rigged slots and an actual roulette table with roles that can be purchased for no real reason and Mojang does nothing that’s insane
17:38 Ngl this is a scene straight out of an ARG Protagonist hides from a monster Steve in a tree, Steve notices that and just B-lines it straight towards him
Glad you went through with the calmer video idea btw. Its so nice to see this calmer video with modern editing. I love it. ❤ Also, imagine you realise how much more money you make with gambling through a server experiment. Then add crates to your smp server (joking, ik that would never happen, thankfully, to the safety of us past victims of gambling addiction. Thank you for keeping sparks of hope for quality without predatory practices. ❤❤❤)
Honestly, I wanna see a server that's pay to win on the surface, but if you ever try to buy anything, you are immediately and permanently marked as a loser for having to buy a leg up.
The way you worded the guidelines really makes me wonder if the life boat server on Microsofts own affiliate server might not be compliant. You can buy mini miners that automatically mine for you and buy the generators for diamonds to give you an advantage on the leader boards they have
There are two primary factors at play: their status as official Partner Servers and the fact that transactions are handled via Minecoins. It is highly likely that features which appear non-compliant to the public are actually acceptable to Mojang; it is simply difficult for the community to see that because the public EULA is often vague and inconsistent. Meanwhile, these featured servers have a direct line to Mojang, allowing their specific monetization models to be vetted and approved by Mojang directly.
Devil's Advocate: by the time they would have seen your report no one was playing on the server and it (aside from the one random guy that's probably using an autoclicker) had been griefed to hell. Perhaps they logged in and figured justice had already been served? Still should have sent at least a warning tho, imho
The only threat of running a non eula complient/p2w with gambling server is **the gangs** showing up, basically duppertrooper with his duping friends, DupersUnited with hundreds of ppl basically on standby ready to dupe on any bad server with an available dupe or TheHorizon crashing ppls servers with lag machines. Mojang is the least of the owners problems lol
It's actually not "illegal" to break terms of service. It's like u sign a contract with somebody and there is a section "if u break it, these are the consequences". Depending on the consequences, many are not legally binding like for example "i borrow u 1 usd, u have to repay me tomorrow. If u do not, i beat u down". U won't be legally obliged to get beaten down if u don't repay, beating u down in any case would be illegal on their side
big companies owning games must be the single worst thing that happened to the community. They dont give a shit about a single aspect of the game or community but are just happy they get to grab kids and families money
You should instead create a real life casino, where you can gamble with lootboxes instead of traditional casino games, making the Minecraft lootboxes suddenly resemeble real life gambling, rendering them illegal by Mojang
Exploiting children is way too easy these days. I should really get on that hustle, but all my "personal ethics" and "a conscience" are holding me back from being the best/richest version of myself.

Your previous video exposed how a server owner gave creative mode to one of his admins and was making money via a backdoor. Money is the key word here. If money is king, rules mean nothing.
Suggestion: add fake chat messages about fake people winning big.
Don't ever let me near a casino developer.
@JorgetePanete nah they'll let you COOK bro
No thats too low, let someone win on purpose then let them go crazy with their money till they lose it all again to spur more money to flow
Okay, that’s too far, even for a joke server.
@wrath4452 >clippytroon pfp
Mojang seems to treat illegal gambling as serious as Roblox does predators
people shouldn't have to say it like that but jeez your right
I mean that's how roblox treats gambling too
Roblox also has gambling that they don’t care about
Yes, they see in it an 'opportunity'
@BioTechproject27 I think you have to understand that they cannot legally say anything negative about it
I’m shocked that this is the first time I’ve seen a RUclipsr do something like this. It’s the perfect way to show how poorly designed any system can be
this is a LOT of work, this guy is gonna be a legend wherever he goes.
I recall an individual making a fake speedrun for a game (including a TAS watermark, lol) and sent it off. When they made a video saying "hey they don't check for cheaters!" they were banned.
Shocker if you are New to the world 😬
@DrPulvernice01099 I didn’t say they didn’t exist, I’ve just never seen it before
When the whole gun mod ban situation was going down, CallMeCarson did a stream called EULA smp, and you can probably guess what it was about lol. One of his funniest videos to date, it's called "a minecraft server with guns"
I think the guy who was grinding endlessly who was the last guy left probably automated the whole process and is doing something else
that's what I was thinking.
He was, I tried talking to him and he wouldn't respond
@TheMisterEpic that's funny as shit tbh
@TheMisterEpic yeah I'm gonna guess he was a bot.
He was an actual player, he was just using an auto clicker or macro to automate the spins, he still plays on rpg I believe
the "KEEP GAMBLING" sign is the thing that killed me the most LOL
GAMBA GAMBA GAMBA GAMBA
Gamblecore be like -
And the sign of the même with the Guy who quit digging just before the diamond
99% of gamblers quit before they win big
12:19
Mojang ignoring illegal servers, but dmca striking down firearm mods ... thank mojang, u sure protected me from pixels
that's guns! you know how dangerous guns are for children? better make them addicted to gambling so they don't consider violence
@white_145 Banning mods but letting them get addicted to gambling so that they stay broke and homeless. Nice
@basssculptmusic and staying broke and homeless definitely leads to no guns
they made the epstein's friends in minecraft
@ayuballena8217 no it leads to buying blackmarket guns so you can rob your dealer
This is the perfect way to protest the system. Genius
this comment now has 777 likes, i won the jackpot. (kids remember to keep gambling because 99% of gamblers quit before they win big)

“I will sell my body to gamble”

I mean Minecraft employs similar tactics with their Minecoins. Not to say that makes it okay of course.

Thing about having money. The more you have, the more you want.
Thats the entire ploy of all ingame currencies like that. Its why laws have been enacted or at least talked about for stuff like that.

Protagonist hides from a monster Steve in a tree, Steve notices that and just B-lines it straight towards him
12:45 i legit JUST saw that picture on a RUclips shorts video😭
Mojang is taking a cut from the profits I swear.
Insanity pay to lose mechanic. Everyone note that down!
schlep and MisterEpic the goat for exposing multi billion company that doesn't care about the safety of their own game
8:25 wtf i haven't heard that meme for a long while, god im getting old.
It's called the god helmet because it forces you to meet him.
Glad you went through with the calmer video idea btw. Its so nice to see this calmer video with modern editing. I love it. ❤
Also, imagine you realise how much more money you make with gambling through a server experiment.
You can buy mini miners that automatically mine for you and buy the generators for diamonds to give you an advantage on the leader boards they have
wait what?!
Basically, rules for the peasants but not for me statement@pantallahueso
14:47 ah sweet sweet integer overflow
18:07 Looks EXACTLY like the kinda guy you expect to see on a gambling MC server-
Devil's Advocate: by the time they would have seen your report no one was playing on the server and it (aside from the one random guy that's probably using an autoclicker) had been griefed to hell. Perhaps they logged in and figured justice had already been served?
Still should have sent at least a warning tho, imho
16:00 should I just ignore the giant attacking the ca- I mean fun create spinning place
11:52 that sign is diabolical
The God Helmet sends you to the heavens LMFAO
You either die a hero or you live long enough to become the villain
The only threat of running a non eula complient/p2w with gambling server is **the gangs** showing up, basically duppertrooper with his duping friends, DupersUnited with hundreds of ppl basically on standby ready to dupe on any bad server with an available dupe or TheHorizon crashing ppls servers with lag machines. Mojang is the least of the owners problems lol
5:50 that sword have looting, probably a fox could use and ignore the debuff btw
And of course you didn't rerund anyone lmao
10:13 that is not a “competitive advantage”, that is “pay to compete/selling leaderboard ranks”. Mojang has outright misinterpreted their own rule.
you know what. I 100000% saw this video coming after the last one 😂😂😂 im not surpised
Keep mining❌
Keep gambling✅
Why would you think Mojang would respond to a single report about a trashed server? These are paid staff with real work to do
15:12
**YEET**
big companies owning games must be the single worst thing that happened to the community. They dont give a shit about a single aspect of the game or community but are just happy they get to grab kids and families money
I got a ad for a gambling app
You should instead create a real life casino, where you can gamble with lootboxes instead of traditional casino games, making the Minecraft lootboxes suddenly resemeble real life gambling, rendering them illegal by Mojang
Has more fun and soul than any of p2w server
Exploiting children is way too easy these days. I should really get on that hustle, but all my "personal ethics" and "a conscience" are holding me back from being the best/richest version of myself.
Mojangs systwm is as unclear as the Infinite-bacon-but-no-games/Infinite-games-but-no-games riddle
I NEED MORE TIMESTAMPS. MOREEEEE
Who ever said "its not a gambling simulator add divorce acholshism and homelessness" that killed me
11:00 GOLD GOLD GOLD
TITAN HOLO TITAN HOLO
SHOW ME THE PLAYSIDE. SHOW ME THE PLAY SIDE 😡😡😡
Bro opened a cs2 after this
Ill never understand why people even spend so much for digital gambling on a server, when you can GET those items in creative yourself
Shocked to see someone actually do this
