- In this Video I did a lot of scatha grinding/farming and made over a billion coins, spent around 15-20 hours grinding which is pretty good and I was only slightly rng carried. Would recommend for anyone but I didn't really make this a guide. Hope you liked it. Gear used, Superior Dragon Armor, Sorrow Armor, Daedalus axe with Chimera 5. Black cat with Minos relic, Golden Dragon.

I tried this and I have seen dozens of other people that make nowhere near 56m an hour, more like 10m. I made like 10m/hour. Implodent did it for 100 hours and only got 10m an hour.

Efficient miner (hotm 4 perk) for breaking multiple ores and gemstones.
Mole (hotm 6 perk) for breaking multiple hard stones.
scatha mining is only underrated if you arent my friend who took like 600 scathas to get his first pet (his rates didnt get much better either lol)

The problem with scatha mining is that it's suuuuuuper ping dependant. Someone with less than 50 ping can glide along no problem, but people like me with over 300 ping can only mine hard stone at like half the speed or less

ofc if your lucky af u can get 6 scathas but u can aswell get 0 in the same amount of scathas
Also pro tip: watch a movie/tv show on a 2nd monitor while scatha grinding. I’ve been watching the Sopranos lately and it’s a good show u should give it a watch.

Edit: btw you can get a Bal pet and set it to auto equip when hardstone collection increases, and equip black cat pet while entering combat so you dont have to continuously switch armor sets. :D
? I had tiger for when enter combat but exception for when I have a black cat which gets equipped when I equip sorrow or superior. Had a bal autopet too but then they had a bug where heat doesn’t go past 50 so I didn’t equip bal again unless it was habit. Ty for thinking about it though lol. The reason I lost mf was because I had crit chance entichments

Short answer would be the Daedalus Axe.
For explanation: Daedalus Axe copies the stats of your active pet. The 'stats' it copies are the numbers before the skills.
Black Cat is so strong for scatha mining because the magic find and pet luck it gets from leveling are counted as the pets stats and not external boosts and how they affect the pet drop chances together. While Bal does give a 15% boost to your stats when mining in magma fields, it is counted as a skill instead of the pets stats. The stat increase Bal gives falls in comparison to the flat increase from doubling the black cats magic find and pet luck making it a better pet for scatha mining. However Bal is the recommended pet if you do not own a daedalus axe.
