I'm getting more and more intrigued by working in Illustrator. Thank you for showing us how you were able to manipulate the sleeve pattern in the program. I'm going to check out Victoria Werner's course, because I would LOVE to learn to use Illustrator for drafting my personal sewing patterns. Currently, I'm working with paper, and it's so time-consuming to use my basic blocks to draft new patterns...
Hi Jessica! I just washed 1,5 meter of denim in the washing machine and those white lines/marks happened to me too. I'm trying to fix it by washing the fabric again in warmer water with no detergent. I actually think the reason isn't the fact that you washed to much fabric at the same time but it could be all the chemicals that they put in the fabric, that make the fabric incredibly stiff. Next time, I'll leave the fabric in a bucket with a lot of warm water and then I'll wash in in the washing machine. Maybe softening the fabric by wetting it before actually washing it in the washing machine will help! I love your content :) I'm looking forward for your patterns Bye :)
Hi Dana! Thank you so so much for your detailed response! Washing denim has been top of mind for me lately, so I really appreciate your input. I’m willing to bet that soaking the denim before washing it will definitely help! I’m planning to try washing my denim at a laundromat since their machines are larger and more capable. Hoping it goes well 🤞

What platform will you use to sell your pdf patterns?
Hi! I’m thinking that I’ll start with Etsy, then once I’m financially ready, I’ll also start my own website 😊
@@jessilous_closet Thank you for your reply.
