Six decks is just common sense during pandemic. You don't want two tracks playing too close to each other.
6 decks with 1 mixer is way less common anyway since most of the mixers production companies use or rent out are 4 channel mixers. They might have 2 sets of mixers with 8 or less CDJs tho.

if you have presetted cue points at the studio and you strongly know what you do it isnt a big problem. If you need more just check Cots & Ravine 12 deck's mix
@@emergingorganism5771 True. Try play 6 decks at the same time and you will get nothing but mess. 4 decks for deep dnb, 3 decks for neuro at most (2 decks mostly). Presseted cues, bpm sync, same styles tracks and DJing is very easy. You don't even have to know tracks, just play some for few second in headphones and you'll know if they fits together.
Producing music is the hardest. DJing is easy if you have at least a little rhythm and sense for music.
He's using bpm sync and quantize for the whole thing lol, no dj skill in that

@@youngghostnz first because sync isn't actually perfect, but mainly because the two inner decks are CDJ-2000nexsus' that are on a different beat sync loop (not linked with the other 4), and also they have the oldskool cdj dodgy bpm readout, so you have to do a little bpm up and down and a little nudge here and there to make it perfect
Remember folks, a lot of time, practice and track selection goes into this - Try doing this with random songs you don't know you will sound clangier than an exhaust pipe scraping against a road
this is a 100+ hit double flawless victory.

6 deck techno sets were being played in mid to late 90's. First 6 deck d&b set I've seen. How dubstep replaced d&b is beyond me. Millenials have no taste in music. Well done bro keep the scene alive. Brings me back to the real underground scene of mid 90's :)

When I watched this live I didn't even realize how sick this whole thing is - it was just some kind of impressive. But watching it again, watching how he switches between those decks, throws some snippets in here and there, plays another track, plays with the equalizer... If I say "it's awesome", it would not even closely describe the skills he puts in that set.
