This is my daily car since 2013. No issue since brand new. However clutch pump leak is a common issue on lancer/inspira manual, make sure to take good care of the brake fluid to prolong the life of clutch pump. Other than that, this car is pretty much bullet proof.
Usually I flush every 10k km or before Trackday event, then after track day. And I only replaced my clutch pump once since 2013, and that’s not even broken. I replace it while replacing clutch plate since need to remove gearbox.
It is heavily depending on what tyre you are using. A normal road tyre will have a lot of understeer on tight corner and couldn't carry alot of speed trough corner. A performance oriented UHP tyre will easily shave off 10 to 15 sec, extreme performance tyre (AD08/RS4) will probably shave off another 5 to 10 sec. But driving skills should be the number 1 thing that affect the laptime. A good driver can lap faster on a cheapo tyre than a bad driver with a performance tyre. Consistency also plays a vital role on a good laptime. Btw Quazacolt is a fast driver, running on AD08 and some expensive coilover. LOL I am not going to turbocharge my car. Turbocharging an engine with stock internal is not a good idea unless you have shit tons of money. Realiabilty is another issue turbocharging stock engine.
@@ljanhong I'm only learning bro and far from fast or at least where I want to be being permanently stuck at 3:01. The coilovers at that time wasn't really that expensive and was done in stages and initially even had bulk pricing. I think in total maybe spent between 4 to 6k. Far from really expensive ones like Ohlins costing well over 10k. Even RDS adjustable today cost about 9k :(
I've been thinking of getting this car or the Preve. Do you think that the handling is any better than the Preve? heard that Proton spent some time with Lotus developing the handling for the Inspira.
between preve and inspira, the choice is very obvious. Inspira has far better built quality, far more comfortable and the 4B engine is so much more refined than the CFE, just like a C segment Japanese car. Preve has extremely cheap built quality. For handling wise, if both are 100% stock then I would say preve has slightly stiffer suspension setup out of the factory.
Nothing much actually. 4-2-1 exhaust manifold, decated with supercircuit axle back exhaust. Engine ignition timing and air fuel ratio has been adjusted to run on RON97 octane fuel. Brake pad using Project mu ns400. Car curently making 141bhp at the wheel.
Dah full throttle gear 4 pun tak habis lagi camne nak masuk gear 5 bang. 😅 FD2R pun takleh habis gear. Tu pun kena tengok setting ratio masing2. Myvi boleh habis gear out meter kot.
Absorber standard + Proride lowered spring je boss. Standard kilang lagi. Inspira putih dalam video pakai ftuned adjustable + zestino 07R semi slicks, yg tu baru corner mantap 😂

Stock clutch is very light. I have been daily driving it for more than 6 years. It’s all depend on how much you enjoy driving manual.

Depends on the organiser. Usually around RM320 for 2 hours

Mivec baru bukan macam dulu2, yg ni sentiasa adjust mivec pada semua rpm dan tengok throttle input. Power delivery smooth kat low dan high rpm.
