Finally!! This is the first video with clear and precise instructions ive heard on this particular topic. And believe me I have been through so many on here!
Thanks a lot, will help with my future uploads.
Ha awesome! There's not been much of an audience for this vid so glad it helped someone out
Thank yooou! I was really struggling of the thought about how to get my recorded build in dj set aline with the video that i will record! Thank you so much
Nice work bro! I was looking for this so long! Thank you very very much!
Really great Video man! Great clear advice, tips and the calmness you bring is next level! New subscriber here.
Brilliant video Si, thanks!!!!
thank you thank you
Very helpful video well done
Glad it was helpful!
Would you also process the audio recording in any way? Like normalizing the volume or anything like that?
Hey mate, amazing video!
What if you’re using a second camera for moving shots and only recording 30sec-60 secs each time? Can you sync the audio then?
I guess no reason why not other than it could lead to issues when syncing as there's so many clips to do
Anybody know of a complete set up list including cables needed, batteries etc?
Thanks dude, took a lot away from this preparing to record my first live mix
Glad I could help! Send it over once you're done
@@SiHargreaves thanks man, will do
@@SiHargreaves Hey man, mix is up now, let me know what you think? ruclips.net/video/H6e6HlZOFkY/видео.html
Great vid - Is there anyway of getting the Pioneer DJM-REC working with the S11?
Great video mate 👊 I'm quite advanced in setting livestreams and recordings up, and i can say that your video covers pretty much everything. I love the mouse thing on the left hand side of the screen, never thought of that :)) 👊🔥
Thanks for the video. Suggestion: Include chapters next time? Cheers :)
This is exactly what I needed...I've been asking so many people and they just tell me what they use, instead of how to do it
Nice one!
Very informative video, thanks :)
Thank you!!! clear explanation
Thank you for the strait forward video. Very helpful. Good looking out on the editing software as well.
Gonna try it, looks very helpful. Let’s hope it is🙂. Thanks for the effort making a video about this subject.
Best of luck!
great Video, thanks for the help
Thanks Si. Resolve downloaded.
Hi mate, I’m looking into video recording my vinyl dj sets at home. Just a couple of things I need to know really.
1 - What sort of camera do I need for recording? I’m just looking basic.
2 - How do I get the best sound quality from the mix? Would I need an output from my mixer, or I’ve got a Scarlet interface actually? Do I need to input the signal to the recording device? I could really do with some clarity on this please. Thanks Andy
Yo yo yo.
To get the very best quality you want to use an actual video camera vs say a webcam. All depends on your budget? Lighting makes the biggest difference to be honest. If you have an Iphone and lights you can get great quality.
Yes, you want to record your "line out" or "aux" channel from the mixer.
If you have an interface, that will be perfectly fine to record to your laptop.
@@SiHargreaves Thanks for your reply Si. Yes, I have an iPhone 8, not the best. When recording with an iphone on a tripod stand let’s say, is there going to be any delay in the sound vs the actual video? Will I only need the required RCA adapters to go into the iphone and then I’m away to record? I’ve been looking at the evermix box 4
Thanks brother appreciate it!
Wow, so helpful! Also - the karriem riggins record and spongebob references spoke to me on a personal level!
Ha awesome, we can be friends now.
Hi there! What do you do to prevent video playback lag in Resolve?
I've got a pretty beastly computer so I'm OK. Look up optimised media or proxy work flow. You basically have to transcode the media down to something more manageable and sub the proper footage back in at the end
Nice
Awesome mate, have helped me understand the whole process. Gotta do the mix now haha
Lol that's the hard bit
Really clear instructions and you definitely make me want to download DaVinci Resolve to have a play around!
You should! It's so dope
omg finally!!!! This video was so clear (many thanks!)
You're welcome!! Let me know if there's anything else you're stuck with
Quick question. Is there cable that goes from the Pioneer DJM750 MK1 into a samsung A51 mobile to get the best audio possible for a live video set on facebook or twitch. I use 1210s with the DJM750 MK1. I know it has a built in sound card but I dont want to go down the traktor or serato route, kind of hoping its just some sort of converter cables.
I think you need an RCA cable so you can take the feed from your booth output. You then want a TRS to TRSS cable to convert the signal to be useable by your phone. I actually did a vid on this. It's called "how to Livestream using your phone" or something like that. 👍
@@SiHargreaves nice one Si, thanks mate!
Or get irig 2 it’s easy for Android users
@@SiHargreaves Evermix box4 is the best for streaming IMO
amazing video
Thanks!
Great vid!
Cheers! 👍
thank you!!
No worries! Hope it helps
